People want demos, unreleased tracks and unseen footage- and that's how its been sold with Jon walking through a room full of boxes and Matt saying we have the keys back and are in total control again.....

If whats (finally) released looks decent then I'll join but at the moment the money is better off in my bank account rather than Jon's.

Even Jon's biggest fan must admit that so far...unless you paid for a box membership so far you've had nothing.

No idea why they haven't released Halo as mentioned yet.

Do you think Jon is maybe finishing these songs? maybe the 7 songs he mentioned were not finished, and he wants to add guitars, some vocal line, new backing vocals or whatever, as it already happened with the 2004 Box Set. Maybe that's why we haven't gotten these songs yet. Just a guess.



I feel like when this trip is over, it will have been worth it, and I think we will get more than 7 unreleased tracks, and more live performances than we would take for granted.

You're comparing a 4 disc, 50 song project he was paid for to a song here or there as a throwaway in this thing though. I just don't see him putting work into something that's not being sold. We haven't gotten them yet because we're getting things monthly. Nov and Dec are done and we'll see what happens in January.

This is being marketed towards a group that is happy to get merch, not really us. For the few you've seen on ebay there's enough people on twitter that are cool getting anything with the name on it. I agree with Faith1985. For the price of the merch, retail value not cost to make it, members got their moneys worth with this.

If anyone was "sold" on this based on that footage and assumed it would be a treasure trove of unreleased gold, come on. Look at what's been released so far, all the material we've got has been timely. New album show comes out to promote the album, holiday songs need to be December. But if anyone thinks Jon is taking his time with it to make the songs better in the studio or rummaging to put out a 12 song sampler of unreleased songs, I have a plot of land to sell you on the moon.

Here's what I don't get....why mention the Christmas concerts at all if it wasn't ear-marked for December 2020? Unless they're holding off a full year for it, I don't see them putting it out in May.

I just feel if you’re charging people money for something then you best have something to give the fans.

I was listening to the Hammersmith Gig the other day and cadalic man came on. Jon says it’s been recorded for a film. Why not give that away as incentive? Something to make fans think they can’t possibly be without this membership.

I dunno, maybe I’m old fashioned (46 next week) and when I pay for something I expect value for money.

The description of the membership stated merch. The yeti comes pretty handy (I've used it a few days and it keeps my coffee warm) The socks are of good quality The scarf is thin but alright for a light day in winter
I've not read one negative post about the box on instagram and no, not everyone is waiting for unreleased songs. I liked the christmas videos too and so did quite a few people.
The deal you are getting with the 4 boxes and the digital content is fine.

This is all "value is subjective" territory. If they had done things right and kept it exclusive, performances of Luv Can, Shine, the directors cut of the performance with additional songs, the Q and As, tour of the studio within the first two months.....basically $80/12 = $6 worth of content per month. They're hitting that quota and $6 isn't really hard to hit.

I don't think they've done a terrible job at the price point/upload ratio, I think they've done a terrible job at keeping things exclusive. You and RD don't like the selection thus far, and that's fine but, it's 2 months out of 12. Surely you have to see how easy it is to get you complaining about the value of something you didn't even pay for.

So $5.60s worth of content per month in your case. I think they could be doing a way better job but it's barely January. Increase encryption, do what you gotta do to keep it exclusive and that price point isn't bad.

Alright for the sake of your argument I'll add the $.44 cents per month back on the price....my point was more you got it discounted and aren't happy with it, I specifically mean in your case if you feel like it's a waste of money.

I can see the complaint about the lack of exclusivity (though i don't believe the interview and q and a stuff and tour of the studio was on youtube) and I realize I'm being VERY repetitive about this, the CPM broken down isn't the worst.

The Q&A and the Studio Tour haven't leaked. I never saw them 'round.

The Q&A was mostly boring. You lose interest when you can blindly pick the ones that are allowed to talk to Jon beforehand and 5 of your 6 picks are correct because always the same ones get chosen.

On the one hand, I'm with someone like Matt saying that it still runs for 10 months or so and that we can complain after that.
On the other hand, I get why people are a bit upset. I'm pretty sure they did that whole thing with Jon holding up an old VHS and talking about demo songs because they knew they'd get a specific fan demographic on board with that. If they don't live up to that promise in the end, it's kind of a rip-off. If they put out some shows and a few demos, it's good. But it can't be excused with "it needs to be prepared first". These things can easily be done within one day, even if the stuff is still just on a VHS. And teasing with footage of a Christmas show, it feels like a wasted opportunity that they didn't put one up there in December. I don't need Red Bank in July. :D

It would be kind of a rip-off if there wont be any demos/archive stuff at all, but Jon travelled to Nashville where the FC is located and posted pics of the archive. Of course there will be stuff of this coming up.

It'd be really nice to get one rare song a month along side everything else. Or just one piece of audio.

I'll try to put in another words: they didn't add anything "special" or "rare" on the Experience YET, such as new songs or shows remastered concert as the teaser and Jon's pic of the storage show... well I think we can consider Luv Can and Shine a great addition.

Anyway, we have 10 months ahead and we still don't know what's coming up this month... Just need to wait.

This is JBJ Experience and Jon promised they would release things. Paying for a membership without receiving anything is a waste of money. Lots official fan clubs from other bands release live double albums, rarities, and live shows on HD. It would be stupid to pay for a membership and receive nothing.

Give me a break, he didn't promise that. Everything that was "promised" has been fulfilled. He said there would be unreleased music and video at some point. You're using examples of other fan club as if their fans bitched two months into a twelve month subscription. Jesus, people. This is such a weird issue to have this early in, even for us.

The picture was low quality, the Santa hat is great, the Christmas ornament is okay...

I show envelopes which tell you it's footage of the Shawshank Redemption. Batman Begins. The Godfather. So you sign up and I put backstage footage of Air Dog 3 online. Meanwhile, my brother tells you "we're only getting started".

First of all,I joined the experience as gold member,and I must admit that,until today,the experience has been disappointing.
I dont get why they only release one thing each month! It is stupid.
And what is even worse,the things they release the past 2 months werent worthy
A q&a were the only people who had the chance to ask Jon are the ones who go to all the fc trips and host on the same hotels as the band,Luv Can and Shine that were just ok (and on youtube inmediately),and 3 videos of Christmas songs who nobody cares of them...

It could have been done much better than that,it is not very difficult and I dont trust Matt saying "we are only getting started..."
They could release one old show on audio from each tour the band played per month via download like Bruce does,they could have release one Christmas DVD show but they didnt,they could have release Halo as a Christmas gift,they could do a lot of thing,but the only thruth is,that today is January 10th and we have got nothing since more than a month ago.

Things must improve tooo much on the next 10 months to make that experience worth it,because,until NOW,it is pathetic.

To be honest I don’t know about the Xmas videos on pubs...I saw the songs and they were not for me so wouldn’t have looked for anything else.
Luv can and shine are on YouTube.
There’s plenty of time for them to turn this around and make this the best $80 any Jovi fan could ever spend on the band.

It’s just I’d be underwhelmed if I had paid it and think people who have paid it have been left short changed so far. When there’s something decent I’ll join.
