Business and music have changed so much but Jon hasn’t. For a guy who likes fleecing his fans with runaway trips and memberships to watch him look at photos you’d think he’d use his strongest weapon to get more out of fans….that weapon…music. Bon Jovi unreleased music. But we get no music from him.
No demos, no unreleased tracks…just rehashed videos or live cuts we’ve all heard before.

This should be renamed The Jon Bon Jovi lack of ideas and content experience.

Cos that’s what it is.

I mean how hard would it be to do a Skype call with all members of the band to see what they are doing at this moment. Just a 5 minute video call would be better than Bergman photos.

Ask David to film some backstage Diana stuff. Ok not Bon Jovi related but better than photos.

The options are limitless. But Jon can’t be bothered. He has the money up front and has sat back.

The fact is that Jon is the rich man living in a rich mans house in Miami and people who subscribed the Exp and who goes to Runawys are paying him his brand new mansion and also,paying Matts house in NJ with nothing effort from the organization.

As far as I know it's an annual subscription. Though if someone joined a month ago knowing what's been released so far, this is on them haha.

It's a free account to the end of the year so there should be no excuses for anyone at this point... and if they keep releasing these shows, it's totally worth the 10 bucks a month.

I really wouldn't want another Slippery release, but there's enough other great albums they could get off their asses and do something. By now, I don't buy the "they can't because of some contract" bullshit anymore. They just don't care and they're not willing to invest in creating something valuable. More or less the only artist of that era who doesn't. And that says a lot.

I agree, but if they don't do it with SWW it will be difficult to see an anniversary edition of KTF or TD.

They don't have to go for something as flashy as Metallica or Nirvana. Simply a 35th anniversary edition with 3 discs and a DVD.

Ejemplo:
CD1: Album
CD2: Unreleased Songs, Demos, Pre-productions
CD3: Live Concert from SWW Tour
DVD: A different show from disc 3.
A small art book with photos from the tour, backstage rehearsals etc.


But.... damn, they don't even have the guts to put full Nassau 87 on JBJ Experience.

I have mixed feelings on this.

It's nice to see they found a workaround for getting these things on The Experience... But there is also nothing exclusive about it. Members spent 80 bucks for exclusive content but with a free Sirius account, you get the same shows for free. I was hoping for a bonus track or two... Just something to make a distinction.

Is this radio only for US market or it works in EU to? Can i listen this in Europe for free ?

Sound quality is better than Sirius broadcast. Is great that they have included this in JBJ Experience. I wish they had done this from the beginning of the subscription.

Now I will have to edit my artworks to remove the Bon Jovi Radio SiriusXM logo. I even did an artwork for the folder where I keep these shows. lol

I think there-in lies the biggest problem with the Experience. Do you want something because it's good or because few other people have it. Those are two very different worlds.

I hear you though. I still have to classify this is as rare as heck. The way Sirius does it it's very hard to time when it's on and rip, this gives you permanent access to it, that ups the value a little.

But also the stuff that WAS exclusive to it wound up on YouTube so people got it for free regardless, there's no good way to do it with the budget they have set for it.

Hey guys, do you think all the Sirius concerts will be put on the experience? If so, I'm finally subscribing for it :)

Yep, but the audio quality is pretty decent. so I'm satisfied if the rest of the shows are coming to the
JBJ Experience.

This time they hit the target. This is the right way, I don't care if it has to premiere on Sirius first. The important thing is that it is then included in the Experience.

If the only way to get these shows is to first be on Sirius and then JBJ Experience, so be it. The point is that we get these shows, that they premiere every week.

I hope they continue to premiere a new show every Friday for several months.

It’s not really fair though, is it? International fans have to pay for an annual JBJ Experience subscription if they want access to these shows, while people in the US can get them all for free with a Sirius trial.

True, and I complained about this at first, but now these shows will be available on JBJ Experience. So there is that option. Sirius quality is not that good, sound mono. JBJ Experience quality is a fabulous stereo mix.

I do not know if the reason why it first has to be in Sirius is due to royalties and copyrights. I feel that it is a blessing in disguise, since without Sirius we might not have listened to these shows ... and they are already coming to the Experience.

Sirius doesn't give you the ability to choose when you want to listen to it though, the quality is worse and it's very hard to rip and download. It's next to impossible to do what we want them to do fairly.

Fair point about the quality and not being able to choose when you wanna listen to it.

I think it would be pretty easy to do it fairly though: either make this stuff exclusive for the Experience, so that EVERYONE has to pay to get access to it or give EVERYONE the chance to listen to it on the radio for free.

I hear you but with a radio property that isn't worldwide its something easier said than done. And if it winds up on YouTube? And if its gets traded? It's 2021, there's very little way to keep it actually exclusive.

I don't personally know the steps but it wouldn't take too long to figure out if there's a link it broadcasts from.

Just gotta install an extension on the browser... "Any video download" or something like this. Some of them really download any videos in the page.

They could use an internet radio station that is available internationally or they could work out deals with different international radio stations like the one they have with Sirius or they could set up an internet radio stream on their own website with a subscription model similar to the one Sirius has. Might be a little more complicated and require a little more effort on their part, but there are certainly options.

Of course this kinda stuff is never gonna be truly exclusive in the year of 2021, but if it ends up on YouTube or gets traded that’s fans doing it. The thing that bothers me is the lack of fairness on the official side of it all. You pay this organization to get access to this stuff and they decide to give it away for free to a specific group of people.

If they put out more additional content on the Experience, I’d be okay with it, but since the only exclusive content you’re getting there these days is a bunch of David Bergman videos, I feel even more screwed over as a customer than I did when they weren’t putting out any shows at all.

Well that's your problem. You feel better for having something that others do not have. That is not my case. I feel better when the experience I paid for, is giving me what I want to hear and see - posting live shows and interesting content. For me, now is when JBJ Experience is starting to pay off. It's not perfect yet, but heck, we're going to get a lot of shows in nice sound quality.

All this whining about Sirius and exclusivity could put a stop to these shows. Remember when a lot of fans of the experience complained that Luv Can and Shine (Live) were on YouTube and they told Matt. What did we get after? nothing, absolutely nothing, because they knew it would happen again and again. That's why all we got are videos of Jon commenting on old live performances with footage seen a thousand times.. and DB EP.

Exclusiveness? I do not care at all that it is released on Sirius first, what matters to me is that the content is to my liking - that all those shows are included in JBJ Experience with the same sound quality that China Club has included.


Sometimes some people insist on puncture the ball so that no one else can play, and just because they don't want to wait a bit on the bench, or because it doesn't feel so VIP. That seems more unfair to me.

No that's not the point, neither is the point having it for oneself only. It's that they announce (especially Matt and Jerry) the Experience as having THE exclusive content and have people pay for it to get access to it. Yet again, if you're in the US, you could simply listen to the radio station and have heard these shows before the rest of the world with a membership can even access them. If it was the other way around (higher quality version for the members in advance and a week or two later the mono mix on Sirius), it'd all make much more sense
And as of now, we've gotten one of the shows. Let's wait if the rest truly pops up. Don't get carried away too easily[emoji12]

I'm not sure how you concluded that I "feel better for having something others do not have" from my post, but I don't appreciate being accused of that.

The only thing I feel is ripped off by the Bon Jovi organization, because at first they didn't really deliver on their promises at all for months and now the only content they're putting out is stuff I could get for free if I lived in another country. I don't care about exclusivity in the sense that I want to feel special or have things others don't, I just care about them holding up their end of the bargain. They promoted the Experience as being the place where you get access to content you can't get anywhere else, but now you can not only get this content somewhere else but you can even get it for free - as long as you happen to live in the US.

If you're okay with that or if the fact, that they're putting out this type of content at all now, outweighs the unfairness of it all to you, that's cool, you do you. But you can't just expect others to feel the same or accuse them of just wanting to feel special, just because they're unhappy about being ripped off by a multimillion dollar corporation.

Now we get the shows we were waiting for. I'm just saying.

I've listened China Club a lot of times, and even though it's a regular promo show, it's fantastic. Love For Sale is infallible, Prayer (Acoustic) is a great performance (I really miss the JBJ-SAMBORA duo, These kinds of things can no longer be reproduced with the same magic with the current band), Runaway (piano version) is hypnotic, Wanted, Bad Name and Its My Life sound vibrant ... it is wonderful to enjoy Thank You For Loving Me live, possibly it is the best version with sound quality that we have so far. Damn, even Captain Crash sounded nice.

My complaints were always in the content.. and maybe that we don't have a download section for the shows at JBJ Experience. Now we have the right content.

blazeofglory, don't think I have a problem with you, sometimes I'm too passionate and I often screw up. It's nothing personal, and I understand the frustration on this matter. But now the big shows are coming, and I don't want this to stop.

Your post did come across like you were accusing me directly, but I understand that you're passionate about this stuff and didn't mean it personally and maybe your wording was just a little unfortunate, so we're cool :)

I don't want them to stop putting out shows either. I just wish they'd gone about all of this very differently right from the start, you know?
