Why aren't we getting more shows in JBJ Experience?

Because they ****ed up and instead of owning it and doing the right thing like refunding everyone, they decided to try and fool everyone by providing us with a bunch of shit.

Seems that this month they forgot to put something in JBJ Experience. It's the last straw, I'm definitely not going to renew my membership.

Mine does not expire till Jan so I have a little time but they would have to finish the year well for me to consider it.
I do like it for the presale but if no tour ...

blazeofglory 10-31-2021 11:43 PM

Mine expired the other day and I'm not gonna renew it until they start uploading stuff that's actually worth all that money.

Butters 10-31-2021 11:51 PM

Why in god's name would anyone rejoin this scam? I wouldn't worry about pre-sale tickets; nobody will be going to see this band on their next tour.

I know, I need my head examined. I still want to think that they will deliver on the experience but I do realize its a scam by Matt , I still want to think that we will get some great new releases and I still want to see them on tour. Hopelessly romantic

Can anyone remember how to cancel? I'm sure I initially read that you need to give 30 days notice and it could only be done by e-mailing them...but now I can't find where I read that. The link in the initial e-mail to "manage subscription" is a dead link.

I think you don't have to cancel it at all, because it seems to happen automatically when the year you paid for is over - when mine expired the other day I just received an e-mail telling me that my membership expired and that I should log in to renew it. Now when I log in the website just looks like I never had a subscription in the first place and in order to "renew" it I'd basically have to join the Experience all over again.

As always it's as clear as mud then. I found this in the original email:

*Bon Jovi Official Online Store provides a subscription service. By subscribing to our service, you have confirmed that you accept our Terms of Service. Your membership will automatically renew on a recurring basis at which time your credit card will be charged automatically for the subscription products, including applicable shipping and handling fees until you cancel your membership. You may cancel your membership at anytime by logging in to your account, selecting Subscriptions, then clicking cancel next to the item.

Dicanio 11-01-2021 03:51 PM

I did hear some people have been caught out with the auto renewals so those who’s subscriptions finished automatically may have been lucky

Jack27 11-01-2021 04:08 PM

3. Cancellation Policy for Memberships.

You may cancel your Membership with us at any time as described below. Cancelling your Membership does not provide you a refund or credit for Membership payments already processed, nor does it stop a pending charge. There are no cancellation fees. Cancellations must be made no later than the day prior to the billing date of your Membership renewal, which is the anniversary of your initial billing date. Your cancellation will go into effect for the next Membership billing cycle. You can find your subscription termination date on the Manage Subscription page of your account.

In order to cancel your Membership, you must do the following:

email us at customerservice@bonjovi.com and indicate that you wish to cancel your Membership at any time and we will process the cancellation for you
When you cancel a Membership within the then current term of that Membership, you will continue to have access to the Membership benefits until the end of the term during which you canceled the Membership. You will also still be obligated to pay other charges incurred by you in the course of using the Membership prior to the date of cancellation.

Oh damn you're right. I also just read the terms & conditions on the website and found this:

By signing up for a Membership, you agree that your Membership will be automatically renewed (unless prohibited by applicable law) on the anniversary of your initial billing date and, unless you cancel your Membership in accordance with these Membership Terms (in particular, see Section 3 “Cancellation Policy for Memberships” below), you authorize us to charge your payment method on file for the next annual Membership term.

I'm guessing in my case there's a law that prohibited the automatic renewal, so my apologies and I take back what I said - unless German law applies to you too, make sure you cancel your membership before it's too late 😅

So, do you have to communicate it 30 days before, or can you cancel it, for example, the last week before it expires?

Reading the terms I’d say you can do it a week before. Although it does also state that you can cancel anytime and your membership will continue until the expiry date.

Xavi 11-01-2021 10:10 PM

If you dont want to auto renew you just have to remove your credit card details from your profile.
Mine expires in the next days and I cant wait to end that shit.

YOVANAfromPeru 11-02-2021 03:11 AM

Anyway there is still a box missing >_< jaja

They can keep mine,I dont want that box of shit things.

Thierry 11-02-2021 12:08 PM

Cancelled my subscription as well. This is one of the biggest rip off in history. The most of the digital content sucks and the boxes are just a major cluster**** (they are dumping old merchandise).

FY Jon.

Anyone else think that they have just given up on this now!? Its' almost like they are just waiting for everyone to cancel so that they can shut it down!?

Definitely.

Really glad I didn't do this. I was toying with the idea of signing up this time last year but really glad I chose not too. Waste of money from the get go.

Done too. It's over!

gareththyer1990 11-02-2021 10:47 PM

Cancelled mine too. Complete waste of time and money

Rdkopper 11-02-2021 10:49 PM

We should do a fan page bundle with just us... Just to capture any future soundboards audio.

But I highly doubt they will even continue this trainwreck.

I vented my anger on Jay’s page on Twitter, straight away retweeted by a housewife who can’t believe people’s annoyance with how the experience didn’t deliver.

jovifan93 11-04-2021 03:27 PM

Cancelled mine too and let them know they really ****ed up.

Rockstarlady 11-04-2021 09:33 PM

Luckily “official spokesperson” Jerry just announced the next boxes will be delivered soon :o:o
I am no member but his way of acting oh-so-important is driving me nuts somehow

Sorry… :p

I still think more stuff was fulfilled that people are giving credit for because it really stupid. Like the Bergman stuff? Zero need for 4 episodes, I have no interest in it...buuuut....its exclusive content. If some of the stuff was never before seen, and we're talking less than a 1/4 of it, they're skirting by because they didn't say all of it would be never before seen.

Not sure if contest/VIP stuff happened, I wasn't following too closely, I was in it for the content which has been so so so so underwhelming to our type of fan but for the casual? It's fine. It's bare minimum bullshit using tricky wording.

YOVANAfromPeru 11-05-2021 04:14 AM

So Jon commented the Always video on a very funny way on The Experience, he said the actors are young Jon and young Richie. And that he was very happy that they got someone else to do the video, except him.

haha that was always my theory too

Re competitions there was a guitar comp/auction and……Jerry won it.

So ... no more sirius shows at JBJ Experience. Another reason to stop paying this.

Seriously Jon? a video reaction of Always? You promised us heaven, and look at you. Pathetic.

nikos greece 11-07-2021 11:25 AM

i also didnt renew my account in the experience! the whole thing was a fiasco, after the first 2-3 months jon got bored and the content went downhil...
Jon promised certain things and never delivered. it is truly disappointing a band with such a history not being able to share a couple of audio and video unseen, and sharing low quality youtube clips...
anyway, i m writing here cause i cant have access on the experience, should nt i be able to watch the clips from the first year.
