Its 200 vs 80 so for the 120 difference, they'll get that 4 times a year which comes out to 30 dollars per box and based on that picture, that's a much higher value than 30 bucks.

I didn't sign up the Experience. It's just too expensive when you convert the dollar and so far yet it doesn't worth the price much less does the gold package (also considering the extra taxes for the box).

Like it's been said before on this board - if you're on it for the merch, that's ok. If you're on it for "exclusive content", so far it hasn't worth that much.

The exclusive content always felt more like an asterisk. The money is for the tangible goods and merch and if you don't care about that then silver made sense. Anyone complaining about Gold....I just don't see how. This is exactly what they said it would be.

I think this is good news for those who are only looking for extra music content.

I would be disappointed if the box actually carried DVDs and CDs with never-before-seen music and video ... it would make the Experience Silver very disappointing. However, finally having merch makes perfect sense and is a better fit for those fans who usually shop at the Jovi store.

I totally agree. I'm somewhat relieved in a way.

On the flip side, silver is paying $80 a year for what? Until they lock down how stuff will stay exclusive it's kind of a wash I guess? At least if the exclusive music/video was on a tangible good it makes it harder to rip and share.

Well, I used the Black Friday discount and have signed up for Silver. I'll check it out the first year, and if it proves worth the money, I'll stay on, if not, I'll cancel. Easy as that.

And concerning the boxes: I'm with RD and the Captain on this one. It's exactly what they promised, not sure how anyone could've really thought they'd get something else than merch and maybe an autographed something?

On a side note: does anyone know how to download videos from the experience? I don't want to share them, I just tend to download stuff and save it locally in case it disappears again, but I haven't been able to do so with these Vimeo videos, because they only seem to work embedded in the page, and not outside :-(

Well, someone must have succeeded or how would Shine & Luv Can have surfaced on YouTube? I mean sure, I can grab the screen content, but that would only be my last resort ;-)

That's not true. They're out there, some posted publicly. It's probably not as easy as clicking "save as" but I assume it's an embedded link.

I think there is a way to record the stream yourself... if someone can share a program to do so, that would be awesome.

Oh, there are extensions on Chrome that allows you to download any video from any page. Some of them really work. Maybe they added and used it to do so.

Hmm, I'll look into that. And yes, they're embedded links, which isn't the problem. The problem is that if you paste that link into a video download app, the video will not play/download, because it's harcoded to only play embedded in that specific page. Kind of clever, actually ;-)

And yes, you can record the screen with the Xbox play bar (WIN+G), works nicely, I've already done that with live streams, but the resulting video is rather large and needs compressing afterwards.

Ok, got it to work. Just install Vimeo video downloader for Chrome and then go the the site and you'll see a download icon in the upper right corner of the videos. Click that and a menu pops up with the available resolutions. The christmas songs are 720p, but Shine & Luv Can is actually 1080p. Nice :)

Yeah to me this definitely says the full video of the BTS warming up is on the experience. Maybe it’s just poorly written and is supposed to mean full videos of the actual performances are on the experience

To me it says were seeingh im warming up BTS and we can check out the full performance of "A Jon Bon Jovi Christmas" on the experience, and the songs are streaming everywhere.

I joined this Silver thing a month ago and I feel like I've received anything... Those few things we received were nothing worthy of any value and should have gone straight to YouTube instead of being on Exclusive...

Really... A fan interview, three Christmas Videos with the KOS, and Luv Can and Shine... For 80 Bucks... Are you fuxkinng serious...

If I don't receive anything worthy within the next two weeks, I'm calling my Credit Card and reporting this as Fraud.

Patience, this is going to last a year, if in the teaser we saw some shows I am sure we will get them, and surely some tracks never heard before. I agree in part of what you says, so far, everything we have obtained could easily have been published on the official YouTube channel.

But this is only the beginning... the good is yet to come, I think.

All this material was mentioned from unreleased songs to shows and we aren't getting any of that. They showed a room stacked from floor to ceiling and I haven't received any of that either.

They didn't say that you would get all of that stuff in the first month. Ever. So it's clearly not fraud at this stage.

You haven't received anything seen in a photo in the first month out of the twelve and are calling that fraud? That isn't even close to what fraud is. There was nothing legally binding saying you would get that over the first period, or even at all!

Not liking what they put put 30 days in? Sure, I get that. They blew it when things they posted went public. I could see cancelling over that. But this isn't fraud. It's expecting too much too soon.
