krb102 investigates...

After seeing John Jovi's pathetic attempts at selling his tickets for a huge profit on this site I decided to go undercover, infultrate his trust, and see how greedy he really was...

I created a fake email account on Hotmail, call myself Mark Kenalty, using the address mark_kenalty4@hotmail.com. I got in touch with John Jovi, telling him that I was interested in buying his tickets. His greed showed through from the first reply that he gave me:
hi Mark,

Yeah, I still have 'em - what would you offer?

>Hi, I'm just wondering if you still have the BJ tickets available? I would
>like to surprise my wife with them tonight.
>
>Mark.
>
>
>
>
>

I thought I would make him a reasonable offer: 150% of the price that he paid for his tickets, plus $10 if he was willing to deliver them to a place which is convenient for me:

Where are you exactly?

I paid $200 - so, by 150%, you are then offering $300?

I still have to discuss this with my wife. She was really on the fence over
going - she is much more interested in financial compensation.

The seats are in section 120 - and they are next to each other.

I'll be waiting.

Take care

>So do we have a deal? I'll throw in an extra $10 if you meet me
>somewhere which is convenient for me.

At this point he obviously thought that I was quite desperate for the tickets. It was clear with the next e-mail that he sent that he wasn't the sharpest tool in the box, he was quite stupid for believing that anyone would fall for this:

Actually Mark,

Last night I had some kid in Markham offering me $425 - and I was a little
reluctant. Told him I'd get back to him later this afternoon.

Ideally, I would only give these tickets up for $500.

You may not want them at this point.

Notice that at this point, he said he was offered a price from a male. I replied to him with a better offer, his greed and stupidity were now getting the better of him:

Hi again,

Man, this is getting tough. So, you've matched his offer -- sorry, it was a
young lady, actually. What makes it tough is that she made the offer earlier
and she was very willing to drive to me (in Newmarket).

Help me out here - in the meantime, I'll call my wife at work.

Thanks Mark
>I'm sorry, but at best I can only equal his offer. The best I can do is
>$425 if you do the delivery. I'm afraid I can't go any higher than that.

Now, the person who made the offer first was female...

I was getting 'deperate' for the tickets so I decided to make him one more offer. I thought he would jump at it since it was very unlikely that anyone else had shown any interest in the tickets at all. He still wanted more so I made an 'absolute final' offer of $500 if he delivered:

Hi Mark,

Your offer is undeniably attractive. Any chance I can call you at work before
you go?

John

>Sorry, the car is in the garage being repaired.

>$500 if you deliver? That is $75 more than the woman offered; more
>than enough to compensate your journey.

I explained that my cubicle didn't have a telephone, but I could call him after work to confirm the sale. He was unsure about me so he asked where I worked. I lied and said a well known software company in Toronto, close to where I actually work. He later replied saying that it was a deal and that I should phone him after I finish work at 4pm. He gave me his phone number (which is available by request).

I finished work and I really wanted to phone him to arrange to meet somewhere, unfortunately I didn't have any time to continue with the fun and games, I have to go to McDonalds, and then go round to my friends for some Vodka before the concert.

It was quite sad seeing how greed was controlling John Jovi. He obviously wasn't that intelligent, and it is highly unlikely that he ever did sell his ticket. Outside the venue I walked past at least 6 scalpers just in one small area outside the venue, John Jovi would've had too much competition to sell his two tickets. He has posted in this forum saying that he enjoyed the concert, but I believe this is only so he wouldn't look like a fool who couldn't scalp his tickets and he never actually attended the show.

I hope this helped you understand what goes on inside the mind of a desperate man, who is taken over by greed and stupidity. Thank you for reading.

I think it's sick when people try to make profit like that. I was gonna try to go to the Manchester show, but with not many seats left, I may not be able to get my tickets in time. I wouldn't bother spending loads on them from eBay or anything like that, I would rather miss the show.

Well guys, I have just been right through all of this "John Jovi's" posts and these are examples of what hes had to say so far. He isnt a bonjovi fan, he doesnt buy the bands albums, he downlaods them, sells concert tickets for money. He doesnt deserve to be in the company of friends that we have here....

HERE THEY ARE

I think they know that you are a very, very, very queer individual, huh?

the gayness of this site has now officially reached a feverish pitch.
congrats

and the only way i would have considered paying $20 for Bounce would have been if they included coke or crack with each purchase

You are a complete idiot!!! Why dont' you buy 50 copies of Bounce and send them to Iran as gifts.
I'm happy, my downloaded version suits me well.

WHEN A USER ASKED WHO WROTE EACH SONG THIS WAS HIS REPLY
undivided - jbj from 1995 when he wrote "Hey God"
everyday - justin timberlake
the distance - creed
joey - elton john
misunderstood - goo goo dolls
hook me up - the cult
bounce - bon jovi (it's my life)
love me back to life - creed
HOPE THIS HELPS

I just recently downloaded it. Glad you like it so much. I intend to listen to this one quite a bit.

Let me put it delicately as to not offend the watchful die-hards - Jon is like Elvis and Col. Tom Parker rolled into one with his making of crappy movies and cheesey tv performances (ally mcbeal). Who the hell is steerin the JBJ machine anyway? His Yes Man, Obie- the nerd?
jon should just do what he does best - sell his cheesey music. He is not a movie/tv star.

This is also based on the dreadful Bounce...I don't think the guys in BJ wrote such great songs from Crush such as Capt. Crash and Just Older.
Did I mention that Bounce is the pits?????????????

I agree. This is why this week, Bounce is #92 on Billboard and continues to Bounce off the charts! Bounce is crap.

And I bet you wanna give me a nice, long blow job, too

But, then how would I break it to your mother that I'd pay her to blow me. Apparently, she really needs the money.
Oh, well, I'm not complaining - it's better she doesn't get those false teeth. I like the way she uses her nice, smooth gums.

I've got a great offer from a girl in Barrie, though - she seems dead set on bringing me $475 by tomorrow late aft. for my two tickets.

It just seems these tix are set to bring in a sweet profit.

Well done krb!! :P

Exposing his ineptitude sounds like more fun than I can imagine. It was quite clear he was hardly an intellectual but there are some people in this world that cease to amaze me.
