I want to know more about Damned
 

Just wondering: did Jon use maracas on the song? And did he go off into storytelling mode like he did on the 1995/1996 tours?

I don't think so but I'm not 100%, and no. He sang a bit of a song before damned, just maybe one or two verses, but i couldn't tell what song it was, and then the band went straight in to the song. They didn't play the extra verse after the solo like they have done on some performances in the past (Lovin' you is hard, or something like that...). It was more like the album version.

Was it maybe "Because the Night"? That's how they started "Damned" when I saw them on the These Days tour.

John DID use maracas on Damned although he never ventured off into his story telling mode. And I believe the intro song was a verse or two from Funny Valentine.
