Has Bon Jovi gettin' too much into the commercial mainstream

hi!

maybe often discussed, but do you think that bon jovi are gettin' more and more commercial and mainstream? they are nominated for a grammy pop- category  they pay muchn more attention on their looks and outfits than in the past! you can even recognize the difference between crush and bounce in my opinion! although one can say that bounce is more a rock album than crush they only release poppy singles like misunderstood or all about lovin' you! why don't they release 'undivided'? do they think that it won't be accepted by the pop generation :?:
has jon mentioned something about their music style in recent interviews? it would be quite interesting how the band describe their music and if their are happy to be nominated in a pop category with n'sync?
what do you all think????

They were always mainstream and commercial. In the 80s they made music that the people in the 80s wanted to hear (rock from hairbands), in the 90s they made music the people in the 90s wanted to hear and now they make music that the people now want to hear.

Nothing has changed. And they want to sell albums so they have to do this.

Where you been the last 15 years?

They have always been commercial, which is why people don't like em!!!

I think in this instance that commercial means that they are trying more to appeal to the world of pop music. Some of the tracks from Crush and Bounce prove this, and the fact that Crush sold like it did was probably due to this.

krb102 thought of the week:
I am always happy. When people read my posts they should do so as though each word is its own little bundle of joy, wrapped up in a few small letters of love and happiness.

Good one, lol.
