Announcing my retirement from this board...
 

This board has become extremely boring in the past few months. I believe it is a victim of its own 'success' (if you can call it that) since every thread just turns into a boring conversation between the people who know and are friendly to each other. Each time I post an interesting topic to create discussion, I just get abused by people who think I am trying to cause trouble. Derek Bliss used to do this to every topic that I posted, but since I sent him a PM explaining things, he has started to make contributions rather than insults. Instead, I just find that other people have taken his place.

Whether you agree with me or not (I couldn't really care anyway), this board is more similar to backstage than you would like to admit. This site is also full of Jon worshippers, who won't let you say anything critical about him without insulting you and putting you down. It is just that backstage has more members, so naturally there are more of these posts over there. The public debut of the the pictures forum on this site just adds to this problem.

People on here aren't the sharpest tools in the box. It seems that many are stupid enough to fall for Jess's manipulative posts, making you feel sorry for her. It is completely obvious that she took one small comment from me and worded a post in such a way that you all defend her and tell her that her English is actually quite good. She has done this before: 'My child doesn't need a scalf, he just needs some water'. If she is good at one thing, it is in how to manipulate people.

Since this will probably be one of my last posts ever, feel free to reply to this topic and make it a flamer if you want, I couldn't give a sh1t because I am not going to reply.

My last request to people on this site is this: will someone please tell Sambora Laura to stop that stupid Bongiovi's thread. It is just a desperate cry for attention due to her inability to post any original, relevant topics, and her lack of opinions. Did you know that when she created the SFTPCKRB forum or whatever it was called, she had to force me to join because I just wasn't interested. It was just a way to make people notice her rather than me. She should've called the forum CATAHFIAAFWM (come and talk about how funny I am and flirt with me).

Some of you will think that you are happy that I am going. Ask yourselves if you are in a month, it is going to get extremely boring here.

now that's strange- the one who always stood behind his oppinions confidently leaves the board with a message saying how poor he is and how some of us (all would be untrue...) mistreated him- man if you smack sbd. than you have to be prepared for the hit that follows- but still you don't always have to re-comment (or re-re-smack :lol: ) on stupid insults just to show the board how wise you are and just to proof that you are right and the other's wrong- we in austria have a well known politician which is equal to you in some ways- for you are undoubtadly one of the sharper tools in this box (sorry for using your words but i like that expression and i gotta confess i stole it from you :lol: btw it's really NOT a cynical statement) i s'ppose you know this guy- this isn't an insult- it's an oppinion

Jovitalk has the importance that it has, NOTHING.
It´s only a place created to have a good time speaking about Bon Jovi. Nobody mus take offence if someone criticize Jon or Richie or Bugs Bunny.

Although I am still going to post here, I completely agree with some of those points. Thierry also said the board had gotten boring, and to be honest, it has.

One of the main reasons I come here now is for the file sharing (upload and download), and also becuase I find some of the arguments interesting.
The arguments will no longer be of much interest with krb gone (unless I start some myself, lol).

I didn't see the post where krb supposedly insulted Jess, but I know from his other posts that he is always taken out of context, which is unfair on him. He sometimes makes comments against the band, which are simply his own opinions, and some people don't like that, and then everyone has a do at him.

It won't be the same without him, but if you come to miss him, you only have yourselves to blaim.



Suggestion to krb: Create a new username, and start again. Don't let anyone know it's you, and then try to make the board interesting again.

krb always did funny, and interesting posts. OK, he may have been controversial, maybe even offensive to some people, but at least he was interesting, and didn't back down. I'd also say that his trick with the taut that tried to sell his ticket over this board was Jovitalk's greatest moment!!!!!!!!

Well i think it is a shame.. KRB102 did make the board interesting. Just like he said it starts to look like backstage and the other jon loverboards. If KRB102 it will be even more boring. I think you shouldn't leave and take the board back to the "normal level" where someone can give his opinion clearly.

it has got boring at times yes - but often perks up.

i like a good argument as good as the next but i don't think i'll create a new post JUST to do that... normally it's just a response to one thing someone says rather than stating my argument and saying "right everyone respond to me now!"

True - but your missing the fact that that is where the main arguments come from and I've found that most prefer Richie anyway (though that's off the point)...

Maybe - but just do what I do and stay away from that one most of the time.

they're not manipulative as far as i'm concerned - that's just the way you obviously read them. And in all honesty I don't recall you doing anything to try to put the story straight if it really was a misunderstanding.

Jess is not a Jon-obsessed fan anyway - she has good music taste outside of Bon Jovi.

Since when have you ever needed to compete for our attention - you do it quite well with posts like these. It's not a political campaign.

We can make it interesting without you... I don't mind it being boring at times anyway... I'm perfectly happy to talk or argue through messanger etc... i don't need a big audience to see my every argument all the time!

Look up some of those early posts - that is the reason i left. Okay somebody with a controversial name like bounceiscrap did a big thread about it, but while i agreed i didn't do it as violently and in total must have typed over 5000 words explaining my case...

you all just ignored it!

At least now if someone does a post saying bounce is crap you get a mixture of agreement etc...

and as for krb he told everyone to go to my website and spam the message board/guestbook with offense etc to teach this guy a lesson...

i found his expose on john jovi amusing but other than that he can piss off for all i care anyway considering he was going to do that to me (admittedly he didn't in the end)...

Part of that is caused by the fact that some people only pop on every 4 or 5 days to check up on things and so miss most of the arguments etc... which usually end within a quick exchange of posts within an hour or so...
