Don't you also get tired of all that talk from letitrock and Mike McRock about Deep Purple ? I know they like them, but they add them to almost every discussion and keep comparing them to Bon Jovi.

Since krb102 is gone someone has got to do it...if you know what I mean ;)

I don't think it's comparing the music directly with Deep Purple, it's just using them as an example. Considering Deep Purple are my favourite band, and I know most about them, they're the easyest band for me to refere to. I also think they're doing things right, lots of touring, lots of releasing old, and new live material. I think they're a model band, and should be praised for. It's a highly relevent comparison usually.....

I've added Deep Purple talk to releteively few topics. You're exagerating. Plus, refering to a band is different to turning a thread into one about that band.

This makes no sence at all. KRB anounced his retirement about a week ago, and since then I havne't brought Deep Purple up (except passingly refering to it with reguards to ballads, but this was hardy including them in the discussion). If you comment was true, then this week would have been the first time I've brought them up, in which case you shouldn't be tired of it allready..... :!:

unlike you supersonic i have musical knowledge of more than 1 band... you can't appreciate good music until you can appreciate all music, just as you can't criticise without having a broad knowledge on anything other than "i like, i don't like"
