Lunar Eclipse

What can I say...I absoloutely LOVE this album!!!! Of all my CDs, David Bryan's Lunar Eclipse is my favorite. No matter how many times I listen to it (on average, once a day), David's talent and the amount of heart and soul he pours into each song still amazes me. Even though there are no lyrics, the music is so expressive, so powerful, and so full of raw and uncensored emotion that the story each song is telling and the message contained within is as clear as if there were. David's music touches me more deeply and has had a stronger efffect on me than any Bon Jovi song ever written. In addition to the UNreplacable contribution David brings to Bon Jovi, I truly hope he continues to write and perform his solo music as well...this world needs music like his.

thank you so much for posting that last message. I was at the store today and saw Luner Eclipse and wondered whether or not it was worth buying. By reading your message, I'll definately have to go and buy it. Plus, i've played piano for 7 years now, so i think i may get more out of the cd than some others...anyways, thanks!

Hi Juliet. I'm really glad I could help by posting about how incredible David's album is...thank YOU for listening (most people are so used to my getting so excited over Lunar Eclipse that they ignore me). I know you'll love this album—especially you being a piano player too. Let me know what you think, ok?

Ali,

My version of Lunar Eclipse has a version of David singing and playing
"In These Arms." Do I have something special or is it on all the CD's.
I agree that the CD is great. Good mood music for that special evening......

I absolutely LOVE Dave's solo work. Maybe it's because I play piano and dream of being as good as he is. LOL I love the instrumental songs and am glad I have a Japanese version of On a Full Moon with an instrumental version of In These Arms. That along with Kissed By an Angel and Room Full of Blues are my favorites.

I was playing Lunar Eclipse one day while I was out with my mom and she commented that Dave ought to make a Gospel piano record. I told her that would be a great idea, only Dave is Jewish. ;)

Dave..

LOL well Dave can cover Adam Sandler's Chanukah Song again and stick it on a "Piano Schtick" album along with the Hora, I Had a Little Dreidel, and maybe make up songs like "Oy Vey I love Gefilte Fish"!

I got it and I love it, I thought about it for long time went to a shop and orderd it. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's so great. I can't stop listening. Dave should get more vocals, but also more piano sections. He is so great but so underrated.

Couldn't have said it better myself!! I too wish David would get more chances to have the spotlight when he's in the band setting. David is *definitely* underated in every sense of the word! I only wish more people would realize just how talented and wonderful he really is!

Yeah he's really underrated. I would also love to hear more other keyboard parts from him,not only piano. But what I relly like to hear is a song with Jon,Richie, Dave and Tico(such a great voice) singing lead vocals like Southside Johnnys "It's been a long time"(Lead vocals: Southside Johnny, Bruce Springsteen and Staven van Zandt; it's great!!!)

i finally got the Lunar Eclipse cd for my bday yesterday....and OH MY GOSH!!! it is soooooo good!!! i thought at first that it might be a bit boring cause it's just piano music, but it has such feeling and emotion. I especially like that one song (sorry, can't remember what it's called at the moment) with the violin and the piano. It's just so beautiful! and if there's any bj fan out there who doesn't have this cd, i HIGHLY recommend it!! it's definately worth your money!

KTF,
Juliet
