I have to say that as nice as it would be, I'm not holding my breath on getting any Scandinavian dates. It wouldn't make ANY sense logistics-wise to keep hopping from one end of Europe to the other, you know, to go from Scandinavia to Spain and then to Germany. Even with two full stage sets it would be quite impossible for the band to do that, considering that both sets would probably be needed in Spain as the two shows there are only two days apart. When the first show in Spain would be over, that particular stage would be taken down and driven straight to the first German venue in Erfurt.
Unless, of course, the Spanish dates will be at indoor venues, for which the band needs a totally different or at least smaller stage setup than for the outdoor stadium shows. But even so, hopping from Scandinavia to Spain wouldn't seem logical at all -- if for example Sweden was to get two shows like Spain, the shows would probably be on the 16th (YIKES!!!!!!! ) and 18th May. In that case, there would only be some three days time for both of the indoor stage setups to be taken down, packed and driven all across Europe to Barcelona and Madrid. It's not impossible to do that, of course, but it would seem very illogical, IMHO anyway. In any case, I'm seriously starting to panic about these suddenly appearing additional European dates. I have JUST finished my Thesis, which means that unless something catastrophic happens, I should be graduating from university this spring... And our graduation takes place on the 16th May. :? As much as I love Bon Jovi and would like to see the shows, I simply CANNOT skip my graduation. Or should I say, I could of course skip it as the graduation ceremony is completely voluntary, but I DON'T WANT to skip it. Not after everything I've gone thru to get where I am now. What am I gonna do if they announce more shows, like for example a show or two in Sweden, that will clash with my graduation day???   |
Thanks for making my day, Jovian
But seriously, the things you said about the logistics are pretty much true. I think, I have to wait for a new album & a new tour. :( Teemu |
Letīs just wait and see...
