How has Bon Jovi influenced your life?

I'm curious to know how Bon Jovi has influenced your life concretely - which things are in your life because of Bon Jovi that wouldn't be there without?

I have two things. Most importantly, of course, my best friend. :D If it wasn't Bon Jovi I would never have gotten to know Taija, and I would've missed out on a great person and a soulmate.

Secondly, my field of study. Bon Jovi was what got me into English, and gave me the spark to study the language more.

Same for me!!! :D :D I knew my best friend because of Bon Jovi 2 years ago... I will always love them for this reason!!
And of course I've learnt English better than I would have done with years of scholl-the most parts of english words I know,I know because they are in BJ songs!!
And then Bon Jovi ARE my life...

You know, they helped me to get better at school. I´m much better in every single subject after becoming a die-hard. I know no-one who´s a BJ fan, I mean personally I´ve never met one but I hope to meet someone real soon, like in London this June. 8)

It worked out at least, my parents are still together (I'll never understand why my mum didn't leave him, why she loves him that much!!!).
There have been other things, too, I had a time where I felt so fat and refused to eat, when my grandparents died (they meant and still mean much more to me than my parents)...
... and what pulled me through that sh!t were BJ songs.

Sorry for that depressing stuff!!!

Oh no. My dad´s a ****ing drunk(alcoholic). I´m glad my mom left the bastard a year ago. He made my mom so sad and never allowed my mom to bring any friends home. You can´t believe how mad it made me. If it was still going on, I swear I would do something and it wouldn´t be very funny after that. I´m glad that´s over.
And now, another shit was just thrown at me. My friends mother just died at cancer.

It´s a shitty world but you´ve got to live your life and move on.

Very well said... But we can tell ourselves, "hey, look at what we've been thru - we ARE strong!".

Floke you have to be a VERY STRONG person...you've gone through terrible experiences,I really hope everything's ok for you now :) It's beautiful to see how BJ have helped you

Their songs, especially Stick To Your Guns, have helped me tremendously in recovering from years and years of ruthless bullying at school. And the replica of the SWW necklace I had made last autumn gave me strenght, encouragement and persistence to finish up my Master's Thesis.

Also, I have made some great friends thru Bon Jovi, friends I wouldn't otherwise have. 8)

The only real concrete thing they have affected in my life is my Wallet

Oh - & made me feel good on occasions

I was always a Daddy's girl and when my dad died when I was nine was right when Bon Jovi was hitting. Right from the start the lyrics have alway just fit. Stick to your guns, Never Say Good bye...young love and don't ever give up. They don't mess aroud on their wives and give them credit for how far they've come...that's very cool!

Now as an adult I can truley appreciate how hard they work and what they and their families give up the fans. I can put on any given Bon Jovi CD and get lost in the music and the outside world can't touch me.

I am a mom of two and my kids can listen, sing, and dance with me and I think that's pretty cool! I just say them live for the first time on 2/25/03 and was just blown away! Lost my voice for three day! :D :D 8)
