if your doing it from the crowd, it's very difficult, easiest way is a minidisc recorder with the highest quality stereo mic you can get, but you always get crowd noise which is very annoying. (I know i've done it)

I would recommend minidisc too - you can never eliminate the noises of the crowd completely, but that's your best shot. Just remember not to sing while you're recording ;)

Thierry, dear, does this mean what I think it means?

Yes that is what it means, gonna try to record some shows. If I can keep Kieets and Supersonic quiet. ;)

I'll just punch you in the face if you keep asking things like that.

And what about the 40 other people within a 5 meter radius?

best way to do it is to enjoy the show, then in a month or so buy (or trade) the show at a CD fair. There will always be a few people bootleging the show, who do it all the time, and are proabably doing it just to make money, and have no interest in the show itself. You'll get a better sound, and you'[ll enjoy the concert experiance more!

If you bootleg a show it always will be a crowd recording don't forget that. I did it myself once and it turned out to be a okay recording but that was because we were all by ourselfs at a VIP tribune.

So I would say.... just try and see, and don't aske people to be quit. That's something they can't at a jovi concert!
