7800° Farhenheit : minsuderstood & underrated?

okay, it's not as good as the first album, and surely not s good as their works after... but it has some great songs, and remains melodic while being more ... heavy? or hard? all I wanted to say is that some are still my favorites even after all these years : hardest part is the night, and secret dreams... whaoh! these songs are still strong when I listen to 'em!

I agree. Hardest Part Is The Night and Secret Dreams are some of my all time faves. It's a great album with a lot of great solos by Richie :D

It's definetly much better than the first album. It was very missunderstood.

It's one of their very good album.

It's n#4 in my list and that list does odten change. When I first listened to it i thought it's one of the best albums ever made by a band.
SOme of their best guitar riffs and a raw/dynamic but also dark akbum.

Their most underrated album. It's in my opinion one of the top 20 record of the 80s!

I don't think it's underrated. I like some songs but I don't think it's spectacular by any means of my imagination.

jon, tico, dave and richie was asked during an interview with a swedish magazine (called slitz...) which was their worst album and they all agreed that 7800 farenheit was their worst album so far...

now to my opinion!
some of the songs on farenheit are great and some of them are worthless! the hardest part is the night, in and out of love, tokyo road and so on are good tracks but king of the mountain, SUCK!

I like it, but it is dated. You can tell it is the 80's. Of course, I still enjoy listening to it because I love the 80's! :D

I think that most of the songs on Farenheit are songs that didn't make it onto the first album. I mean the first album is damn good I think. Nearly as good as Bounce is, I'd say, and although Bounce isn't great it is pretty good. It's just that we're used to such a high standard from Bon Jovi.

I think Tokyo Road, In and Out Of Love, and I Don't Wanna Fall Into The Fire are good songs though. It's all on taste at the end of the day. The guys certainly got it right the third time though, and it seems Desmond Child was a great investment.

I think it lacked one big hit. Still, it has a lot of good solid songs on it. Probably one of my least favourite BJ albums, but that doesn't mean I don't like it by a long stretch.
