I would think only Def Leppard and Guns N Roses qualify as 'hairband'.
Van Halen's been around since the 70s. Metallica was thrash back in the 80s.
But from that list, Van Halen is my favorite.

where are bon jovi? they were a 80's hair band tut.

Uh, yeah...last time I checked, this was a Bon Jovi board, and Bon Jovi used to be a hair band...so, um, yes...where are they?

erm since when are the great guns n roses a hair band?Hair bands were pop rock like poison and deff leppard, GNR came along and Welcome To The Jungle struck the heart of hair metal.Thats why they caused so much impact.
