No. You should never look to a movie star or a musician or a celebrity to tell you what to think. Make up your own mind and respect that they have their opinions just like you do. They may have a bigger stage from which to spout their opinion and you may not like it but it doesn't affect what I think about politically nor does it affect what I think about that movie, film, book, cd or the people that create them. (Unless they're a part of something so heinous it's irrefutable. You know... like dangling babies over hotel window ledges and such.)

I listen to what Jon has to say, but I also listen to my coworkers, family, friends, and other people too. When it comes to politics, Jon doesn't influence me anymore than anyone else would. I like to think for myself and I tend to keep my political feelings TO myself. I'm much more conflicted on the war than he seems to be. I haven't reached a conclusion yet.

Jon influences me in a lot of ways, but if he does something or promotes something I don't like I won't start to like it just because he does. For instance, he did a Coke commercial. I think Coke is disgusting. I didn't run out and buy Coke because he did a commercial for them.

No.

But I do respect him for voicing his opinion on that very important matter.
Esp. knowing that there are a lot of people out there who don't want him to do that.

Who voted yes?????

Jon has had an influence on my music, maybe even on what I think of as cool, but things like this, it has to be an individual choice. Also, I don't see politics as something you can support Jon with  . I would never go along with what somebody else says, or rarther, I'd never adopt their opinion as mine, because I'm so in aw of them!!!!!!!!!
