Does Richie smell?
 

This is just a case of me hearing some lyrics wrong, but in 2 of his songs, he refers to cologne, so maybe he feels guilty about smelling bad.

Stranger In This Town;

"I wore cologne, in the darkness of the city..."

Undiscovered Soul;

"When you walk that road, you wear cologne..."

This is inteneded as a joke, so please feel free to add stuff, lol.

Richie is using perfume. In 1998 for example he used Heritage de Guerlein, a great smelling perfume. I bought it for my hubby and he loves it, too.
