Why can't protestors...

I am against war but why can't protestors...

Take a shower...

Get some fashion sense...

Comb their hair...

Stop wearing those stupid scarves that they all wear...

Take time and effort in producing a professional, computer designed, laminated sign...

Wear a suit?...

Learn that the presence of police doesn't necessarily mean that they are on the side of the 'coallition forces'...

Get a job... (just kidding)

They want to be taken seriously, then start acting seriously instead of scribbling 'war for peace is like f*cking for virginity' on a piece of card and glueing it to a piece of wood.

The only message that they convey is that they are a bunch of hippies who are bored with hugging their favourite tree. They need to wake up and realise that noone will take them seriously if they look like they are permanently stoned, saying 'peace man' at every available opportunity.

Why don't you join them and show them how it should be done?

Perhaps the protestors should speak the tough language of warmongers from time to time. Storm the US embassies etc. Well, the protestors in Muslim/Arab countries are so outraged they probably will.

Like to see them try

Pro-war protestor check list:
Flag: So they can wrap up murder in patriotism.
Sign: For making totally irrelevant emotional pleas about victims, real and imagined.
Ear plugs: For blocking out the talk, rational and/or irrational, of those who disagree with them.
Chanting: To drown out the bomb blasts blowing innocent Iraqis into pieces. (And their conscience, almost forgot that one)
Blinders: So they can avoid seeing things they don't want to see, ie civilians killed by their fatherland, facts, Arial Sharon having protestors of his terrorism run over by bulldozers, etc.
Camo: To show solidarity with invaders of innocent countries.

I can play this game too. I thought the "war protestor check list" was in extremely bad taste, so I made one of my own. Don't take it personally.

so one instance of emotional plea is to be called 'irrelevant' yet you choose to deem another relevant?

Dont even become a lawyer

I'm anti-war, I'm always irrational.LOL I'm not thinking of becoming a lawyer. Maybe a computer repair person. Or a PC game designer.

i'm against the war, but i'm not going to go out their and freeze my ass off! No one would listen anyways. So all i would get out of it is a frozen ass. Going out and protesting is just the same as saying what i want at home...where a bunch of this-war-should've-happened-a-long-time-ago people live
