Sky news also aired footage of american soldiers as prisoners, while it took cnn about hour and a half to comment on that.
And about propaganda... Isn't it funny, how most of usa & uk victims are results of some stupid mistakes, i mean, helicopter crashes, usa accidentaly shoots down uk plane, then in kuwait an american is to blame for a granade explosion, killing one, injuring several others, etc, etc. And not to mention, that the usa prisoners are some maintainance group, not even "real" soldiers, as in the "real enemy". How convenient. And the first american victims by the iraqis they reported about died because they came across an ambush. An ambush, not even a "fair combat".
And yesterday, there were news about 250 iraqi civilians injured, but wow, they all happend to be just injured, none reported dead. It must be a miracle. Today, they finally report about 77 dead. Of course, they don't forget to mention, that that is what iraqi officials said. Or they just use the famous word "allegedly".
Oh, and about the surrender of the whole 51st division of iraqi army - there are 8000 people in that division, on tv we saw about 25 people sitting on the ground. And of course, iraqis denied the surrender.
And since we are talking about propadanda, lets not forget about the Gulf war and the non-existing satellite footage of iraqi army moving along the Saudi Arabia border. That was the final drop and a go for usa to start the attack on them. As it turned out later, there was no troops there, nothing. A reporter from Florida even paid for footage from independent satellites, that of course showed nothing, not a sign of 265 tousand iraqi soldiers. And why is that? Because there were none. Even the american goverment admitted, they were wrong. After the war, of course.
