wedding story

I was thinking about the best wedding i went to.
The man was the manager of a french rock band (they were in the record compagny where i was working) my husband was the other manager.
We left Paris early in the morning (because of the medias) and we didn't know where we were going, after 2 hours in the cars,(i don't remember how many cars we were, and the van of the band), we arrived in a deep little country ! In the smallest town hall i've never seen, they said "yes". And they were dressed in a very "country style", it was funny and unusual :)
We ate in a sort of barn, a enourmous barbecue and rivers of champagne
The band sang 2 or 3 songs for the couple, but not more, because it was just before a big tour, and everybody was tired of them  !!!
But we danced all night on AC/DC, ZZ-TOP, Elvis Presley, and some others ... it was completely hilarious, the only wedding like this !
it was about 8 in the morning when we realised we didn't know where to sleep, some were already in their cars, and the couple left us at this point (we didn't know where they were going-we learned later they were in a little castle near there for their wedding night  ). And they told us they were some tents in the next field if we wanted to have a rest !!!!!
I think we slept a bit, but it was so great ! I'd like to go to another wedding like this one, it wasn't boring like most of them !

The only weddings I ever attended were for my cousins. And they were the boring lot too. *sigh* But weddings always make me happy! Lots of love at weddings! Lots and lots of love! And not too much of this: :bad-word: hehe...

You so sure about that? I'm sure if a bride was marrying a monkey, i'm sure the parents of the bride wouldn't be all thumbs-up for the wedding...

I've never been to a wedding! And that sounds like a great one to have attended, Jess! :D
If i were to have a wedding, i wouldn't be able to stand to have a conventional wedding. I nearly rip out my hair and eat it whenever i watch a wedding on tv/movies, where one is the replica of the other. I hate convential stuff. If i don't go through a drive thru marriage, i'm goign to go down teh aisle with a rock band playing some Bon Jovi song! :D It would be real awesome to be married at a Bon Jovi concert -- even if it's way in the back of the concert! That would be just dandy!!

my boyfriend and I plan to get married in Bora Bora... we want a really intime wedding, just the two of us. Then when we will come back home after the honeymoon, we will make a huge party for the family and friends.
