What would you do to make Bounce better?
 

I know that a bunch of people have been critisizing Bounce, so I'd like to know what you would do to improve it if you were able to do so. If there is something you want to change that's not on the poll, feel free just to post it. (I think I can edit the post to include extra options.)
Although I love Bounce, I'm going to have to go with making the songs longer by adding more solos and stuff. They just go by so quickly.

I enjoy the sound of Bounce. I think if I would change it, I would simply add more songs rather than make songs longer. Since it is a rather short CD, there's plenty of room for more tracks. Shania's Up CD had 19 cuts on it if I remember correctly (I gave it to my brother for Christmas).

4th option- JB/RS/DC

I too am going to have to go with the 4th option..in my mind, i dont mind DC as a co-writer...at least with him, we know he worked with them on SWW so compared to AC or MM, he's the better choice..

I would like the band to select some of the top folks on this board to act as the "pizza pie jury" to assist in selecting songs like they used to use in the Slippery era. Folks like Becky and Sambora-Chris come to mind. Get a good mix of guys and girls, so the album will have good balance. I think this would have helped on Crush and Bounce. Songs like Neurotica, Breathe, Standing and We Can Dance are much better options that some that were chosen.

I like Bounce better than Crush, but It's My Life, Next 100 Years and Just Older are songs that have more staying power than what Bounce offers, IMHO. Song for song Bounce is better, but it just doesn't have the big anthem type song that will stand the test of time, with the possible exception of Bounce. I like the heavier sound though. Hope they continue with that in the future.

I would switch a couple of songs to demos. Or add them there without taking anything out. We Can Dance would've been the best ballad on the album if it'd have made it.

1. Replace AALY and OAN with We can dance and Standing.

2. Replace electric Everyday with acoustic Everyday from the Red CD.

3. Add No regrets.

4. And I want the record company to release different singles 1.Bounce, 2. Misunderstood, 3. Hook Me Up.

2 or 3 more rock songs would have made the mix of rock songs and ballads on the CD better. The way it is now there are are a little too many slow songs on it, esp. one after another.

I always said that the album is too short with less than 50 minutes. They were always known for their long CDs.

I go for option 6....

I write and produce all the songs. This would mean long guitar solo's, screaming vocals, and 100% real music (i.e no effects, loops). It would also be a rock album!
