another homework - please help :)
 

I have to write a comment as to whether children should be allowed to play with toy guns. Any of you have any ideas what I could put in it?

Guns don't kill people, people kill people. Not my belief, but a good counter argument maybe. The motto of the National Rifle Association I believe. For my opinion though, they shouldn't be allowed, especially younger children, because at their age they are likely not fully aware of the possible dangers of the weapon. This being due to ignorance or immiturity I don't know....

I used to play with toy guns all the time when I was 5 or 6 or something.
I don't think this has any bearing on a child wanting to kill someone later on in life. This is due to other factors...

However toy guns will stop a child getting bored...

In that case....yes :D Toy guns are great, as is paintballing :D

If toy guns are banned, then surely computer games involving any kind of violence should follow, because at the end of the day, they're promoting the same message, just without a physical thing to pull the trigger on.
