We're a domestic band

Who is glad that the US and 'Canada' are getting a second leg and places like Asia, South America, Africa and Austalasia are getting nothing?

Aloha !

I'm not. Jon and co. admit that the US fans are the most unloyal fans of the world, but still they get the most tourdates, while they easier sell out in Africa or Asia. The excuse that they can't take such long tours is ridiculous, because I don't see the difference between a tour in the US or a tour in Africa and so on. And the fans in those other continents are much happier then the ones in the US.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

There are massive differences between putting on a tour in the US and putting on a tour in Africa - if you had a CLUE what it entailed you probably wouldn't be so quick to assume that everything is a walk in the park. And DON'T make any assumptions about US fans... you know nothing.

Yes but there isn't much difference between putting on a tour in Europe, and putting on a tour anywhere else in the world (other than N. America). Look at the These Days tour, they played in A LOT of places.

I do have enough clue to know that it's possible to realize something like that. They did it with the These Days tour, and other artists do it as well. When they made the comeback with Crush they promised to do a full tour again, they didn't. Then came the OWN tour, but again they didn't. And now the Bounce tour, of which they promised the same, but again it's a tour which is worthless to a lot of fans. Even in Europe a lot of countries are missing dates.

I for one am not glad about that! While I do understand the fact that they tour the market area strongest for them at any given time (it has been Europe before, you know) I am not glad about the status quo at all. The Scandinavians, Australians, Middle Easterns, Africans, Eastern Europeans are all waiting for Bon Jovi to return. I especially feel for Australians and South Africans in this respect - it must be very hard to keep the faith, but they are doing it nevertheless. Hats off for them, and here's hoping that BJ will in the future concentrate on being an international rock band instead of "domestic".

Will Derek ever make a post where he doesnt criticise people for saying something, then imply he knows everything about it (with no evidence) and then never grace the topic again?

its all - you suck, you are all stupid
- I rule, I obviously know everything, proof? what proof?

Is Derek even male? I suspect he might not be.
