AALY opinion
Hi i just wanted to share my opinion about the video and the song. Firstly i think that i agree with the majority of people here when i say that i think it was not the best song to release from the Bounce album.
The video is also the smae standard video that they always do. I think that sometimes they ruin the song by the video, i mean look at Always. Bed of roses was ok, but this video has also ruined the song. Its quite a stupid and funny video, but it totally doesnt go with the song. Also jon has started looking really weird these days. Dont get me wrong i love the band and jon as i always did, but anyone else agree with me? |
the song is great but the video sucks

I don't like the song. The video is okay.

There's a funny bit on the video, well, I think it's funny.
Right after Jack opens his parachute, the camera cuts to show you the writing, "Will You Marry Me?", and then it cuts to Jon. He looks at the camera, with his trademark grin, and it's almost like he's saying "You really think we'd let him die?". Just imagine it next time you see the video, lol. Also, Jack seems to be falling VERY slowly. It takes him almost 4 minutes to fall off a building, lol. |
Ok, gravity is 32 feet per second (I think), and it takes him, we'll say, 3:30 to fall.... so the building has to be... 6720 feet tall. Tall building. :D
Good video though, good song. Adrian |

Also, he will pick up speed as he falls, so it would have to be a couple of miles high, lol. |
It doesn't depend on how much he weighs. A bowling ball and an apple will drop at the same speed. And I don't think he'd pick up speed, though I'm not sure. I'm still sticking with my original height of a little more than a mile. I heard a while back that some Japanese company wanted to construct a mile high building, so maybe they used that one in the video.

I've heard about that before...the bowling ball and apple thing....but is it true? If you dropped and elephant and a marble off a building, would they hit the ground at the same time? I can't believe that would be true. |
