Newspaper: Andreas Carlsson, the writer/producer of Everyday

Eyy guys out there. Listen to this shocking news: The swedish newspaper Aftonbladet says that Andreas Carlsson(he usually produce for Britney Spears and Celine Dion) is the one who both wrote and produced Everyday! I can hardly believe it. My question to you all is if anyone else has heard something about this??! :? Pliiz, say it isn't so...

I have no idea who it is but since Richie and Jon co-worked with quite a few songwriters in the past it's not impossible. IML was produced by someone who also works with people like Britney Spears, too. And Desmond Child for example writes with a lot of artists, not only for rockbands. And Wayne Isham who works for BJ nearly since the beginning (or at least since SWW) also works for Britney Spears and Ricky Martin.

A good songwriter/producer/videodirector can work with different styles of music.

I agree 100% with Christine!

Maybe I'm wrong but I think thats the info for Def Leppard's song Everyday. I'm gonna have to check

MrSambo 07-31-2002 12:07 AM

I stand corrected...i was thinking about Def Leppard's unbelievable.

i for one don't believe it. I'm not saying its not possible, cuz it is. Jon told the lyrics for this song so long ago, that leaves me with next to no doubt that he wrote it. this was around the time they were writing for the new album. im interested in seeing how this will turn out.

The article says that he has worked for Def Leppard too.

True!

itīs definately true! Andreas Carlsson comes from a village about 15 km away from where I live. my former teacher in music is his best friend, and actually talked to him while he was in New Jersey and wrote with the guys. I also read the article, and it said that he had written the song. Itīs true, but Iīm pretty sure he did it together with Jon and Richie. However, itīs 100% true that Andreas Carlsson is very involved with the work of Bounce. Rock on.

it was swedishman max martin- quite good songwriters up there in the north- so i just wonder why baltic states have won the eurovision songcontest the last two years :D :D :D

I for one don't think he was involved with the writing of "Everyday", mostly because he was involved with writing some of the songs for Def Leppard's new album "X". But who knows though... I sure do hope that the guys will have the song writers listed on this album, that was something I didn't like about Crush. Then things like this will be confirmed and not dwelled about like it was with the previous album..

It's totally possible he worked WITH the band and collaborated on songs but it's also totally possible, given the mess that was made of the issue on the last album, that the Swedish newspaper is spinning to story to give more credit to their hometown boys than is accurate. Just as Max Martin didn't write Its My Life FOR Bon Jovi, I wouldn't believe for a minute that Andreas Carlson wrote this song and produced the song FOR Bon Jovi. Besides the fact that Jon keeps telling everyone that Jon, Richie and Luke Ebbin are producing this album, Jon and Richie are known for collaborating. Sounds like it might turn out to be partially true but that the Swedish paper isn't 100% accurate, just milking the local angle of the story.

He might co-wrote Everyday. But there is no way he WROTE it.
