I was just curious as to the details of this song. Does anyone know?

Its on Destination Anywhere by Jon Bon Jovi

and it's a copy of Rockin' in the Free World.

All I know is that its about a girl who got killed by a speeding car at the time of the title. I think thats about right anyway, if anyone knows any different then feel free to correct me. Is that what you were looking for???

Katherine Korzilius was the daughter of Paul Korzilius who is one of Bon Jovi's managers. She was mysteriously killed August 7, 1996. Exactly how she died is uncertain. Her family lived on a circular drive and her mom had stopped on the way home to let her get the mail and walk home (a short distance). Katherine was found soon after in the other direction than she would have walked home, laid out on the road, with her clothes smoothed down. There's no way she could have fallen or been hit and landed so perfectly groomed. She could not have grabbed onto the vehicle because she had a broken finger and it would have been too hot. They suspect she was abducted and either jumped from or was thrown from a car due to her injuries. But she had to have been placed where she was. She was brain dead by the time they got her to the hospital. She died on her father's birthday. Jon wrote the song to deal with his anger and loss and gave it to Paul and Nancy. They asked him to put it on Destination to get the word out about her murder in hopes that someone would know something. They also did a piece about it on Unsolved Mysteries.

It´s a song dedicated to a girl who died. The acoustic version is very very great. Rockin....is a decent song. This is one of Jon´s better ever.

No, they never found out who did it. She was such a pretty little girl too...
