Jon & Dry county live version
 

I have a Dry county live version (amazing version), and, before the guitar solo, JOn say something I can´t understand. It ended saying: "but not me!!" and then Richie rules with his guitar.

Anybody can post what Jon say?
And information about where they could have been recorded

I have a live version from Copenhagen (93) and he says it a bit differently before the big solo...

(Something I can't understand) ...kid turns eighteen and they put a gun to his head. You're allowed to drive but you're not old enough to buy a (something...uh...drink, trick, I don't know) unless he's a criminal who's f***ed up just a little bit. So every day that little boy has to look in the mirror and think, "F***, I ain't even old enough to shave yet. I can't get a job to support myself but maybe I gotta to think about that big bad American dream. Cuz' me and my daddy, we had us a talk and he said to me, "Hey boy, you wanna cut a piece of that pie, man, you better make sure that knife is sharp, you know what I'm sayin'. Cuz' you gotta watch your a** because there ain't no (then he screams something really loud that I can't make out...it's very dramatic, and I'm sure it would make more sense if I could understand it.)

This isn't a perfect translation...and there are a few parts that I don't quite understand. I actually got this out of Tixy's signature, so Tixy may be able to help you more than I. And if anyone know's what Jon is screaming, I'd be interested to know too.

This is the best song ever. And then the Sambora guitar solo is powerful, incredible....I LOVE THIS SONG, especially this live version. anybody know where it was recording?
