Its So Unfair . . . ..

Its so unfair, yet again UK/European fans are missing out.
First of all they released the Target CD (only available through the store) and now they are appearing on QVC and having a DVD made available but we are unable to purchase it because QVC.com don't send items outside the US and Canada and it isn't going to be shown on the UK version.

It really annoys me because we always seem to get the raw deal on everything. Even the fanclub trips - I would love to go but they are always in the States and I can't afford the cost of the travelling expenses and the hotel. If they did one somewhere in Europe then it would be easier for European fans to get to.

Does anyone else feel the same?

Don't get me wrong, I love the boys to bits but sometimes I just feel a bit cheated.

Agreed.

It could be worse...... Do they even have DVD players in Australia yes :D :D :D (I only say this because I was told by an Austrlian that this hasn't caught on yet).....

Also, down under bands seem to tour once in a blue moon!

England can be pretty good really for tours, so no, I don't think we get it too bad.....

Still, it would be nice to see the Scorpions over here sometime soon!!!!!

I agree. But when I see the price of 35 Dollars plus taxes and postage for a DVD I probably haven't bought it anyway. It's a rip-off.

£45 for a Bon Jovi ticket is a rip-off, but then again I think you just have to accept that if you like a popular band, they're going to take far more form you wallet than they should!

I really feel bad about this too, first it's always for the US fans and second it's Expansive !
I hope it's the choice of the record company and not the Band otherwise how could they say they care about us ! adding the tour and the CD it's a lot of money especially for the ones who are students or the ones with a familly

I don't feel bad at all! they can keep their dvds for themself! i want to listen to bon jovi, not watch them!

eriK 04-08-2003 03:40 PM

okay, dvd in 5.1 or 6.1 would be quite funny to have... but no! release a good rockalbum instead!!
by the way, does Live at giant stadiums 89 exist in dvd format?

What about all the CD singles and bonus tracks and double CDs that Europe and the rest of the world always gets? All the Target CD is is a collection of bonus tracks that allowed some of the North American fans to avoid importing singles. It doesn't even include Postcards. It's not as if every item released around the world is released in the USA. It goes in cycles. For quite a while the USA was the land of the Bon Jovi drought. They were never on TV here and we got no "goodies." Also keep in mind that just because QVC is releasing a DVD doesn't mean the same material won't surface around the world soon anyway. The Keep the Faith video collection was released outside the USA months before it was released within the USA.
