30,000 in sales

I just found this out! The QVC promotion thing wil count toward sales of bounce, QVC has still been selling them, even as you read this. They say it should hit around 30,000 copies! Here is the stupid part, it won't count until may 15th which means bon jovi will most likely fall off the US billboard top 200 albums, since they are struggling at # 181! Then they will re-enter VERY high! 30,000 copies is enough for the top 40! They should make them count now, its kind of stupid how the whole sales system works! Once Bounce goes platnium i think its time to move on to the next material!

If this is right, I think 40.000 copies put them in the top 20,at least.

I hope the tour in Europe increase their sales. I donīt say that Bounce is my favourite album, but they MUST sold more than Crush. Itīs better. Crush sold only because it had a song named Itīs my life.

Crush was a big mistake. After These Days...Crush. Bon Jovi crush with "Crush" and now is doing a little "Bounce".

30,000 Will definately put them back in the Top 50, that's for sure. Now the question is, how long can they stay in the Top 50? Probably only for a week. But I'm not trying to be negative, it's the truth :( I think Bounce is a GOOD album, but Bon Jovi picked the worst singles to promote it :( This is the price they pay. Bounce is a lot better than Crush, despite "It's My Life".

I just want my box set already :?

I don't think Crush was a big mistake. If it wasn't released and if It's My Life didn't exist at all, I doubt that Bon Jovi would maintain their popularity as we can see and enjoy right now. Whether you like Crush's pop leaning or not is besides the point; Crush still saved Bon Jovi's collective asses. It's My Life is a brilliant song that singlehandedly kickstarted their popularity.

The way the current music industry work (at least mainstream music), you gotta have a very catchy and commercial single. Otherwise your album isn't gonna sell that good (platinum level). That's what happening with Bounce. It just lacks songs that can act as appealing single to the masses. Some people like Bounce's overall content and some don't but mainstream public only pay attention to singles that they hear on the radio.

I would say that if Crush did not exist, Bon Jovi would still draw great number of audience for their tours (see their contemporaries from the 80s - they pack concert halls). However their new albums would probably be largely ignored by the mainstream, only the die hards buy the albums and they won't be as popular as they are right now. I personally don't care whether Bon Jovi is very popular or whether they're riding high in the charts as long as I like their albums, I'll buy them. But from recent posts it seems that people want Bon Jovi to be extremely successful in the charts (there is nothing wrong with this by the way, success in charts will prolong a band's career). And yet the same people dislike Crush, saying it's a bad pop direction and all that. To me that doesn't really make much sense.

Tour in Europe will definitely increase the sales. I don't know by how much but it will increase.

Crush is a great album, and truly marks their comeback! These days was kind of a flop! Crush brought them back, their last BIG hit before Its my life was Always(1995) The songs on These days made a small impact kind of like bounce, Bounce is the same as These Days(in sales and popularity that is)!

Oh my God!!

1. Bounce is nothing comparated with These Days
2. These Days is the best Bon Jovi album
3. Crush is the worst Bon Jovi album since 1984.
