About the SWW cover ...
 

What is the truth then ?
Did they change it because of the censure ? or is this story about a pink line on the girl's picture is true, the fact that they added this on the cover and the band didn't like it at all, they burned all the copies and went with the one we know ?

According Ultimate Albums "Slippery When Wet" on VH1, Jon says that the pink color was not cool. They are a rock band for New Jersey and pink just didn't get it. So they had a little while to come up with a new cover, so Jon just took a plastic garbage bag and wrote Slippery When Wet on it.

Having said that, you can't get more rock and roll than having an attractive girl in a skimpy top...... just look at the Scorpions :D

I also think it's funny that I've seen that cover so many times, but have never noticed it's pink before!!!!! strange

Yup the outside is this black and the inside is pink. Theres only one other man that can make that work. 8)

The girl is inside the cover of the CD's, but when the CD was first released she was on the cover with a pink border around the edge. If Bon Jovi didn't like who am I to complain. LOL. Either cover the album is ROCKING!!!
