I think it's just the modern Bon Jovi and the audience that they're trying to appeal to. Maybe they just thought that a rock song like Neurotica won't appeal to teenage girls who want to see Jon sing something TYFLY, AALY or YHMFH. "Ahh... isn't he cute!"

I agree. It's a really good song and shoulda made Crush.

It's among the best songs of this decade. Drives me nuts that it isn't on the album. This one and "Temptation" would have made Crush far superior.

Been listening to "Bounce" today. Good album. But why, oh why, didn't they put "Postcards From The Wasteland" on it, instead of "Open All Night?"

Why did "Good Guys Don't Always Wear White" never became a proper release? This one would be a candidate for a new Greatest Hits! It could have even been a hit back in 1994.

And how could "Without Love" win over "Edge Of A Broken Heart"?

And "I Am" over "Nothing"?

"Dirty Little Secrets"?

"Save A Prayer"?

I have no more complaints.

Neurotica is one of my favorite Bon Jovi songs of all-time. It's definently in my top 5. I also really like Good Guys Don't Always Wear White and Starting All Over Again.

Neurotica is a great, great rock song. Always loved it.

Not that it matters too much, but does anybody know who actually wrote it? Just JB & RS?

Replace She's a Mystery with Neurotica, replace Save the World (though I somewhat like it) with Garageland, and Crush is a perfect album IMO.

I've got it as a bonus track on my album...I assume everyone else has, too?

Its one of the very few songs that is good about Crush. Apart from that one and Captain Crash, IMO the entire album is a piece of shit.
