Default New Goo Goo Dolls album???

Just checked out their official site under the Blog section and looks like the guys are back in the studio starting work on the next album.

May be a little soon for a new GGD album, but it sounds promising. Would be nice to have a new album by them this year.

Still waiting on the Greatest Hits #2, mind.

Yes, GGD is about to record a new album.

I'm a Inner Machine fan club member, so, the band keep a blog in the member area and Mike told us that it's just in the begining of the process.

I'm a little excited about this record! i LOVE the Let Love In record and that kind of introspective and deep lyrics but now would be nice a new ROCK album (with heavy and loud guitars).

Even if it's only at the starting process, there's still a chance we may see the album before the end of year year. Then again, it's usually been around a 4 year gap between GGD albums.

Let Love In had some great moments, but for the most part, fell flat in many places. I'm more excited about the 2nd greatest hits record supposedly chock full of B-sides and rarities from records past.

Extremely flat, I'd say.
But I think every GGD-album is like that, Dizzy Up The Girl being the exception (great from start to finish).

I think Superstar Carwash is their best album. They really hit their stride on that one. Though I have nothing against Dizzy. Another awesome record.

I agree that Let Love In had its moments. A few good tracks but too many that were only worthy of a skip. Something less full of ballads would be an improvement to start with.
