According to the book of the 1984 Bon Jovi record, the song was recorded on 1984 but the recording was on 1982... and also, there is a version from 1983 from the Powes Station records... so if anybody could make it clease I would appreciate it

They're all the same, the version that Jon recorded with guest musicians was the one on the WAPP record and later also on the first album. The band never re-recorded the song. The mixes might've been slightly adjusted, but the track basically remained the same.
