Anybody like this song?

From the Slang -era, one of my all time favourite Leppard songs. Written by Phil alone if I'm right.

Opinion. I think Pearl Of Euphoria is the best song on Slang, and it's better than above songs.

God no! The Leppard version all the way! Each their own though.

Remember buying Clock's album on the strength of wanting to hear their original version of the song but was left very underwhelmed sadly.

Anyone else think Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar" is more similar to Queen's "We Will Rock You" than any of Bon Jovi's stuff?

That and Joan Jetts "I Love Rock 'n' Roll", but that's an age old comparison.

Are you having a laugh? Not only are ALL those songs not better than Gift of Flesh (not the best song on Slang) but in this list you don't include two of Def Leppard's best modern songs Torn to Shreds and Tomorrow but do include utter shite in your list like Everyday, Back in your Face and, worst of all, C'mon C'mon. Good lord.

Each to their own i suppose.

Bon Jovi has three hits universal, Living on a Prayer (1986), Always (1994) and Its my life (2000), these three hits attract all kinds of people, regardless of rock or pop style.

Hits minors.:

Hits 80s: Runaway, you give love a bad name, Wanted, bad medicine and ill be there for you.

Hits 90s: Blaze of Glory, Bed of Roses, In These Arms, this Aint Love song and Something for the Pain.

Hits 2000s: One Wild Night, HAND, Who Says, Memory and Follow.

Bon Jovi has a better look, better sound hybrid between rock and pop. His Hits have more commercial hook and quality, and their album is open to any audience, whether rock, alternative, pop, country ....

Bon Jovi have the perfect image and sound for rock star.

Bon Jovi has his own label, much better defined than Def Leppard. This is not a quirk of fate that Bon Jovi are better known and recognized. Still a modern sound.
