I certainly agree it was calculated to choose the states they did for this tour but all it takes is one person getting it to postpone/cancel the whole thing so who knows.
You're right with everything you wrote. But the audience is just one part.
Band and crew is the other. If there's one person with Covid - and in the worst case spreads it within the stuff - shows and even the tour can be quickly cancelled.

Oh my bad, when I said if one person gets it I was thinking of band and crew. It's a lot of lot of lot of people, especially if they're hiring local stagehands. I don't know if I agree with starting a tour at this time but it's not like it's going to be fixed in the next few months. I'm just drained.

Yeah I’d say it’s pretty reasonable for Bon Jovi. Gave my pre sale code away. Can’t justify spending cash on this trainwreck anymore.

Thanks again to everyone for their feedback on this thread. In the end we decided to buy tickets to the Greenville and Savannah gigs. The plan is to fly to Nashville, hopefully stopping off in New York for a few days first (all flights from the UK to Nashville seem to be via NY), then make our way to Greenville and Savannah, stopping off in some places that are slightly off the beaten track.

I'm looking forward to contrasting the American crowd with what I'm used to in the UK and hopefully experiencing something a bit different. I'm low key hoping they play Lower the Flag and/or American Reckoning, just to see how the crowd in Trump heartland react!

I saw $481.00-$1,647.00 for VIP Packages
This article talks about a concert in Mexico that was going to happen in 2020... https://warp.la/exclusivawarp-grande...andemia-213129
I have no desire to go to a Bon Jovi concert right now

This seems to be the first arena tour in the US since Have a Nice Day where they decided not to sell seats behind the stage. Bummer, I really enjoyed those cheap lowers behind the stage, especially in the post-Richie era. For usually no more tha $50 you got to sit really close to David and Tico and have a pretty cool vantage point overall. Only time I didn't love it was on the Because We Can Tour since those pillars really obstructed the view quite a bit.

I'll probably wait to buy my tickets the week of the show. This dynamic pricing bands use these days is a pain but rewards those who are patient.
