Bullshit. The Dixie Chicks are entitled to voice their opinions. Freedom of
speech is an American right. You can disagree with what they said all you
want, but you sure as hell can't disagree with their right to say it.

And just as I totally disagree with your assinine statement that Bruce is
losing respect, you have the right to say it.

Yes but so is freedom of choice. Did they honestly think that mouthing off in the uk wouldnt damage there sales in america?. The fact they didnt even have the bottle to say it in america says something for there opinion

I agree. If you feel the need to speak out, at least have the guts to do it in your own country, where you might not get such applause.

Natalie Maines told an audience in the UK that they were embarrassed that President Bush is from Texas. They got a huge backlash from the70-80+% pro-war US audience. Personally, I think it was blown out of porportion since the Dixie Chicks were headlining the 6:00 news when there was a war looming.

Exactly and see the resort they are ahving to go to now to regain americas respect?. Posing nude on some mag cover with slogans like "war heros" and "american and proud". I hope the cheap slags get dropped form there label.
