Not sure if these fit in your definition of hair metal but I´d put these on cd.

Dokken - Dream Warriors
Ratt - You´re In Love, Lay It Down
Mötley Crüe - Wild Side
Slaughter - Up All Night
Vinnie Vincent Invasion - That Time Of Year
Firehouse - All She Wrote, Don´t Walk Away
Vixen - How Much Love, Love Made Me, Waiting, Cryin´
Stryper - Calling On You, Free

Someone probably suggests Poison etc but I don´t know enough of their material.

I didn't post any ballads, I don't think they qualify.

You can't call KISS in the 70's hair metal... Plus you listed most of the songs I already gave.

I didn't even read your post Ice.I just replied.
And I amde a loist out of my mp3's and then created a HTML with Winamp to post them.
And what is wrong with posting your songs?

And why isn't KISS from the 70s Hair Metal?
I think they started the whole POP-METAL stuff so i don't get what is wrong.
Beside ,just listen to those songs and tell me they aren't hair.Come on, in the 70s people played like Led Zeppelin or deep Purple but bnot KISS.

And I forgot: THE SWEET - Balroom Blitz or Love is Like Oxyge and several others.

Right now I am listening to Faster Pussycat - Bathroom Wall
Great song.

Why post doubles?

Because "hair metal" refers to the part of 80's when bands starting caring more about how high their hair would go instead of music. 70's KISS is nowhere near that period. 80's KISS, esp. after Animalize is.

Come on, KISS sold more records than anyone in the 70's! What are you on?

Ballroom Blitz is a great song.

You missunderstood my Kiss comment when I said people were playing like Deep Purple or Zeppelin but Kiss didn't play like that.I just meant they didn't have the same sound being more melodic...i may say being more ROCK 'n' ROLL.

And they didn't sell as much as LED ZEPPELIN. KISS sold lot of merchandise and stuff but not records. And even that started pretty late in the 70s.

They started in 1972, released their first album in early 1974. And they outsold Zeppelin easily. Alive was released in 1975 and started a KISS-boom all around the US. Don't try to argue with a KISS freak if you don't know the facts.
