I was surprised to learn Bon Jovi opened Stadion Letzigrund, in Zurich (where the Crush Tour was filmed). I've tried doing some googling with regards to what stadiums the band have opened/closed with little success. Thought my knowledgeable JoviTalk pals would be able to answer.

It's a bit of stretch talking about having opened when the stadium was 70 years old by the time Bon Jovi played there (1996)

Hey, if they were the first ones to play there, they did open up the stadium to the musical world 😜

The first one that comes to mind when I think about stadiums they have opened/closed is the old Wembley stadium back in 2000.

They closed down Wembley in 2000 and opened up New Meadowlands in 2010.
I think they were also the last ones to play at Naval Sub Base in Groton 1993.

I think they hold many records about how many times they played in single stadium around the world.....like Munich stadium, Bremen stadium, Ernst Happel in Vienna, Wembley stadium. Anybody have that numbers ?

Definitely not Wembley. I think Michael Jackson and Queen had played there more times on one tour than Bon Jovi in their career
And The Rolling Stones have played Munich one more time as well (9 to 8 ).
They played the most shows in Bremen with 4, but then again, that stadium isn't too often on the tour schedule of big bands and has only hosted a total of 18 concerts between 1988 and 2006.
