[QUOTE=bonjovi90;1271546]I gotta say that Jon and Richie probably had a battle as to who could wear the most stupid looking outfit that night

Hahaha, did Jon steal Richie's pants that were supposed to go with that jacket?

A show that often got overlooked in the crazy month of April. Insane energy, in fact, I can't even begin to understand how they were able to keep up these kind of shows for almost two months straight on a daily basis. Well, it was to backfire later on that tour.
Taken from an audience master tape, new two-way remaster! Only some nearby clapping is getting a bit in the way, other than that, great sound!

Setlist:
01. Intro [0:00]
02. I Believe [0:51]
03. Wild In The Streets [5:58]
04. Jon pumpin' up the audience [11:03]
05. You Give Love A Bad Name [11:54]
06. Born To Be My Baby [15:34]
07. I'd Die For You [22:25]
08. Bed Of Roses [27:15]
09. Keep The Faith [34:51]
10. Blood Money [42:37]
11. Blaze Of Glory [45:26]
12. Dry County [51:11]
13. Lay Your Hands On Me [1:02:15]
14. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead [1:11:39]
15. Blood On Blood [1:17:54]
16. Bad Medicine [1:25:00]
~ Shout [1:31:11]

Encore 1:
17. Jon asking the crowd if they should play all night long [1:35:14]
18. Runaway [1:36:08]
19. In These Arms [1:40:49]

Encore 2:
20. Acoustic Guitar Solo [1:48:14]
21. Wanted Dead Or Alive [1:53:01]
22. Livin' On A Prayer [1:58:40]

Encore 3:
23. Jon daring the crowd to finally go home [2:05:28]
24. Drift Away [2:07:02]
25. With A Little Help From My Friends [2:10:25]

Agreed! Even though it was castrated as hell to fit the TV format lenght-wise, him singing in the original key (and not struggling with it) made this a great one. I wish they would've done the second verse as well. Even with playback instruments, the live vocals really would've made for a great rendition.

Can i disagree about stunning and effortless vocals? I've Heard much Better vocals from him...let's not be nostalgic and a bit more realistic

Are you out of your mind? Those vocals were incredible...

A few bum notes in the beginning but once he goes high and hits the choruses, hes perfect especially on that last one...

So okay, 9.5 out of 10...

It's not really fair to compare it to other Dry County performances because they were half step down, whereas this one is in the original key (as Dominik noted), which is substantially more impressive.

Agreed. Nowhere did I say that it was one of his best vocals ever, but I've heard Dry County performances that were half a step down and where he was far less impressive (like the 1993 release). He was adding subtle rasp and nuances here in the original key that just make for a nice listening experience. I've certainly heard him do worse when he had to sing in the studio key for TV performances.

Was that Dry County for Top of the Pops in UK? When I clicked on it I seemed to remember seeing it years ago and it got me thinking TOTP
