Default Rock of Ages - Trailer

http://au.eonline.com/news/new_rock_..._cruise/305922

I am actually so pumped to see this (even if Tom Cruise is the star of it).

A tiny bit of Wanted Dead or Alive can be heard towards the end of the trailer. The vocals sound so autotuned.

But anyway! I cant wait! Alec Baldwin looks hilarious haha.

(sorry if ive put this in the wrong section).

Saw the play in London last week, it's actually great fun and the whole of Wanted is played (unlike just snippets of a few of the others)

seems like Glee: The Movie to me..killing great classic songs. Not sure on the musical havent seen it, i want to. but this just seems awful. ive only seen one musical which is based on a band, that was We Will Rock You, that wasnt a glee group singing a load of queen songs. i hope this wont be!

Classics shouldn't be touched. Even in the intro of the trailer, with the rendition of "Any Way You Want It" almost being chanted...

Hate to sound like an arrogant nob but you are wrong - as are all the other negative thoughts on Rock of Ages. Saw it in NYC 2 years ago and it was the best night out I've ever had. If the movie is a fraction as good as the musical it'll be a hit.

It looks and sounds really trashy. I'm not sure it's trashy enough to be funny again, because of Tom Cruise.. It's like I Love This Town: If that song were done by David Hasselhoff it would be a real classic. But for a song done by BJ it is just a really, really bad song!
