Default Would you accept Cadillac Man in the new album?

I was listening to a live version of Cadillac Man, and I was thinking about how great it is. And I thought that some time ago the oompas on bj.com said that a proper studio version of this song has never been recorded. If this is true, would you accept the recording of a studio version of this song during these sessions to put it on the new album, eventually in place of one of the other new songs...
I think this could be an interesting question, but I want to remark that this is just an hypothetical question!

I would rather like it as a b-side than on the new album. don`t think it would fit on a new album. it`s a great song though

This song is definitely a great song. But did you know they gave it to Johnny Hallyday, the french famous rocker ?? His french version is good ! Actually they had been interviewed about that many years ago (15?) and they said "he did a great job" ! Richie played guitar with Johnny...Not so many people know it, how come you know this song ?

I'd love to hear a full studio version of this song...but I don't want it turning up on the new album.

It's 15 years old. Let's have some new music....

I thought the whole idea of American XS Platinum was to open the vaults and distribute stuff like this...although at the moment it looks like AMex is one giant rip off...

I think that AXP is on the slow mode at the moment ....I think the whole bj.com site is on slow motion ... I agree with you that it would be great to get some new stuff to hear but I am not holding my breath about it

I think it's a great song, and would love to hear an official finalized studio version, but the way they are overproducing these days maybe they would wreck the song so instead I'd rather they just do a demo.
But what would be really cool would be to see them performing it live.
But that will never happen.

Yes, they didn't change the title track, but you guys should try to find this cover song...I would like to have your opinion about it ! And Jon has always said that Johnny Hallyday was one of his favourite rocker...) A few years ago, he flew from NY to Paris just to see him on stage !
