Default Jersey Girl

Has the band(or Jon) ever played that song outside of that one show in Australia? And whose song is it originally?

I believe Jon performed Jersey Girl in Allentown in 1997. I think it's a Tom Waits song, but has also been covered by Springsteen.

I love this song. I would love to see them cover it again at a Jersey show. But I won't hold my breath.

this song means a lot to me for personal reason and I would like to hear it sung without Aussies mentioned in it !

I absolutely LOVE this song when Bon Jovi does it. I have the version from Australia too and the lyric change "When you're in love with an Aussie girl" is minorly annoying but you know the crowd there had to love it when Jon did that. And i would also LOVE to hear it next week in Jersey but yeay I know it's not likely to happen.

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Yah Jon's performance of it is fantastic. I don't mind the lyric change since it got the needed reaction from the Aussie crowd. Jon really covered some interesting songs on his DA tour.

I'd love to hear it again or for the Allentown version, that Miracle mentioned, to surface.

I think the band did it for Storytellers, but it was cut from the broadcast.
