Well, why has Kurt Johnston stopped playing with the band? His website says nothing...

The only time i ever knew he was there was on the Lost Highway Concert Dvd with his little Any other day solo.

That is the only good thing he has done from what i can ever remember.

That's a good question.
Come to think of it, he never really added anything to the live sound, besides Whole lotta leavin and the likes.
In fact there's a you tube vid where you can see him doing absolutely nothing. Man if only I remembered from where and what song it was I could find it.
It was funny!!!

Just a change in the tone of the shows. With the new stage set up and "being less country" Kurt was expendable.
