Alrighty, before we get to the two major awards of Best Post & Pre 2000 songs, it is time for the only "Worst of" category at this year's awards. The Jovi Award for Worst Song has 9 nominees. They are...

Well, it is time to announce the final two categories for the 2017 Jovi Awards. It has been a pleasure to host these awards and I look forward to doing them again, annually, with new categories each year. Once again, and big thank you to all 50+ voters for taking the time to participate.

And so, to close out the 2017 Jovi Awards, here are the nominees for the Best Pre-2000 Song and Best Post-2000 song.

I hope you are happy with the results, and I look forward to hearing discussions and suggestions on both the 2017 Awards and next year's.

Thank you.

Honestly don't get the hate towards King of the Mountain. Sure, it's not a good song. But do people really think it's worse than army of one?

I'd take King of the Mountain over Army of One but only by a sliver.

I'd take Army of One and King of the Mountain over She's a Mystery.

The outro of Army of One saves it from it's terrible terrible lyrics, and I can enjoy King of the Mountain. In fact I'd take both those songs over To the Fire and Wildflower as well.

I don't really get what people see in SWW-NJ/early 90s music videos. It's pretty much only the band performing on stage or performing in a studio. Not that I don't think it has its charm but if I want to see the band perform I go for a live concert.
For me a music video is supposed to be more than just a band performing. In that case BJ has nailed a lot more cool videos starting with Crush and forward (even though there are some weak ones post-2000 to). Make a Memory is fantastic, HAND is really cool, Say It Isn't So are creatively very cool - hell, I even enjoy the really cheesy ones, Misundestood, All About Lovin' You, Till We Aint Strangers etc.

Wow! Just watching these clips pulled together like this reminded me once again of why I love this band so much. It also showed me that I apparently suck at picking winners as bad as Jon does at picking singles, since none of my choices won in their respective categories. But I don't even care! This was the most fun I've had in a while simply because of the way it was all presented.

Thank you, Anthony! You did a phenomenal job with all of it!! You ROCK, my man!

Wow, great job Savvi! You da man!

It sucks that none of my favorites picked up any awards, but these were (almost) all great choices, so I'll live with result.

Particlarly, I'm happy for IML winning the post-2000 category. When I first came here, I felt there was a pretty silly disdain for this song as if people were mad that the success of it changed the band moving forward. So I'm glad that with passing time, the fanbase grew more appreciative of this amazing song. Even if it's not my personal top favorite.
