Default Alec and These Days?

I've been thinking for a long time, did Alec get to hear and listen to some of the early demos songs written for These Days while he was still in the band in late 1994 ?

Probably. He didn't like the band's sound during the KTF era and maybe it carried on to the TD recording. There's a great chance that I'm wrong though

Where'd you read that he had issues with the band's sound?

I thought it was TD he had a problem with. There was one of those interviews where he said he was way more open with telling Jon he doesn't like the new material.

I think it was on a blog comment. Alec want the glam metal sound but didn't like the new stuff at all. It triggered him to mess up again and it went too far. I mean can you expect a band like GNR make a song like Always? HELL NO.

Would you expect 80s Bon Jovi to make a song like It's So Easy or One In A Million? The two bands were never that much alike.

Or AC/DC to make a song like Tokyo Road or It's my life?
