Default He's back!

Just watched their latest show at Endicot. And he was UNBELIEVABLE. He sang high songs like Bed Of Roses, These Days, IBTFY, and even In These Arms!

Here's some proof:

In These Arms

Listen at 04:37

Bed Of Roses

"Unbelievable"?

Jon's voice is improving, indeed, but it's still awful.

These Days was so badly butchered it was funny.

Bed Of Roses and I'll Be There For You were basically shout fests with no vocal resonance or smoothness behind them at all.

The part of ITA you suggested us to watch was pretty decent, but sounded very forced. His voice even seemed to crack a bit at the start of the (easy) long note.

I'm sorry, but Jon's done. Those vocals are literally embarrassing.

I agree with the above... It's all very different now... some good but mostly bad...

I like how he's improved his way of actually speaking the lyrics out on some songs... It sound more like the record... Bad Name actually sounds better on some parts... But that's about it...

His overall tone has changed. A few years ago it was, 'okay, he can't hit the high note but everything else sounds fine'. But now some of the songs are sounding off from beginning to end...

I'd like to get some feedback from someone who was actually in attendance...

Honestly guys...it's not that bad, give the guy a break. I know it's Sunday and there's not a lot to do, but...

He's been touring for over 30 years, he's 30 years older,...

I bet those who have seen him on this tour loved every minute of it...surely that's good enough 😉

I actually like the fact that he's pronouncing words again and not just nasaling his way through. The These Days on the WAN tour im Madrid was just as 'bad', maybe even worse and it was amazing to hear.

Stop complaining and enjoy...he won't be around forever ✌🏼

Whenever I feel down about the state of voice of my favorite singer, I get my quick fix just by reading comments of his apologists claiming he's "not that bad" or (even better) that he's "improving".

There's already a thread about this show, folks. Head over to the tour discussion.
