That's the point. They can charge as much as they want, but the show they are offering is extremely poor for that money. For any kind of money. Everything is dull, boring and average.

And no, dropping the prices wouldn't solve the problem. You can choose if you want to go, you can even go and enjoy with no expectations, but that's beyond the point. This is a very expensive BJ cover band. If Jon could be the frontman he's supposed to be there could be a new argument instead of the same we've been rehashing for 2 years but this won't happen and you can't stop fans from caring about the legacy, more than Jon does obviously

YouTube link to the full performance if the Facebook link stops working. One thing I notice watching the whole show back is that there are too many songs I don't really care about. Also, when listening live I could guess a fair amount of the songs about to be played, at least in the middle of the set. I certainly enjoyed it, but hope for more tomorrow and in Australia.

7.5?? Seriously...! It's 2.5 at best from me I'm afraid...

I'm assuming his 7.5 is in light of context surrounding the band etc. I refuse to believe he views this show as 7.5 within the history of all band performances.

But what made me (and I guess many others) a fan was that Jon could deliver a song like rarely any other live. Bar some masterpieces, most songs of the band were solid to good in terms of the pure songwriting/songstructure. What made them special was that Jon could sing them in a way you even believed the most cheesy lines in there.

And, as someone pointed out, I am more concerned about him being unable to follow melody lines. He is 56, if he can't hit the very high notes, that's okay. But Who Says is a prime example of how he seems to go through hell to sing a mid-range melody. That's concerning me.

Well I guess than we have two different views here. Of course his voice is not all - in Munich 2013 it wasn't too great but the effort was fantastic. But if I pay something between 100 and 200 bucks for a show - of course I want to be pleased by the frontman. As I said - vocals are definitely not all, but I wan to feel comfortable and enjoy the music. I don't pay it so that I can go home saying "It didn't please me at all, but Jon was up there and smiling, so he was comfortable and I am good". Though some fans probably really see it that way.
Amen to all the above.

The hunger that made Bon Jovi the kick-ass band it was until 2013 is gone forever. There were tiny (very tiny) glimpses of it in the European leg of the BWC tour but in hindsight that was probably just the last dying breaths of a band that was already done before the ill-fated tour even started.

This 7.5 is for band today,it is not 7.5 in 1995,I dont compare their shows today with previous tours. I look at them today and what is good and what is bad.

Pretty sensible position to take, there's no point expecting the impossible

Not sure if someone has already mentioned, but no We Got It Going On.... That's been a staple on the set for over a decade.
