I mentioned, back in May at the last MSG shows on this tour that Jon (the frontman) showed up in all his glory. The last night at MSG was awesome, not so much because Jon sounded so good but because he actually acted as if he wanted to be there and
he made it a super good show.

That Prayer performance is impressive. A show like this makes me wonder if
A-he let them shoot steroids in his throat (last show) or
B-he snorted something

Audibles were These Days, In These Arms and Always.

The set list played was exactly what was planned, including Blood On Blood and Saturday Night.

Been following these shows and I want this Jon at Wembley not the static stuck holding on for dear life Jon at his microphone. Jon to me is my fav frontman and I know the voice is gone but it's so much better when he's into it! The first few shows of this leg were piss poor and if he brings his 110% to Wembley I can't think of a better way to say goodbye.

Hmm, watching that Best Of video, I must say that Sydney is the first show of this leg that I actually think his voice suffered/is gone. He hits less notes than he actually does, sounds hoarse as hell, etc. All things that weren't there to that extent the shows before. I wonder if he knew his voice wasn't up to it that night and decided to compensate by playing the frontman a bit more?

EDIT: I'm talking about Bad Name and Raise Your Hands here, it seems to get better later on...

And at 53:27, is that just a loooong echo or is it playback?

Vocally more than a bit ropey in places, but when he's back to being a proper front man it doesn't matter, as that was very enjoyable to watch. Keep this up please Jon.

You guys are in for a real treat if Jon brings his a-game to Europe. Shows like this one remind me why he is one of the best frontmen around.

I have finally come around to watch these clips. Can't believe what a difference it makes when Jon is like this. I smiled through entire LOAP simply because Jon put on a "believeable" performance for once. This really makes it obvious how much it means to a Bon Jovi show if Jon brings his A-game as a front man. Take a song like Roller Coaster - having Jon work the stage like that took it to another level as a live song.

Only shame is how inconsistent he is. It suck that you have to worry that you either get a statue behind the mic stand that seems to want nothing more than to get of the stage - or a great front man like the closing shows here in Australia. It's like a different front man if you compare the Tokyo show to the Sydney show.
