Default Bed Of Roses French Version: is this true?

Hi my name is Santiago.
I wanna know if is true that Bon Jovi make a Frech version for Bed Of Roses, like they record in Spanish, edited in KTF for South America.
Becuase i heard the rumor a years ago, but i'm sure if this is true; or if this version is only a live version played in some concert in Fance or an studio version for some KTF France Edition.
Thanks.
Santiago.

Never heard of a French version of it, although the horrible pronunciation Jon has in the spanish version could be confused by easy listeners as a french accent.
just saying the posibility is there.

Tico gave an interview, in a French hard rock magazine for the launching of Crossroad, in which he talked about all the hits one by one.
For Bed of Roses he said they had recorded a Spanish version (which many of us have heard) and that Jon had THOUGHT about recording a French version of it but eventually didn't.

Yes, but they'd have to work on the lyrics, because the exact translation would sound a bit funny

Yeah, I can imagine! "Lit de roses" doesn't feel the same

Well, neither did "Cama de Rosas"

Would have been funny yes, but as Jess said, they would have needed to do a really good job on the lyrics.
An accent can give a nice style.
I remember Sting singing Jacques Brel's "Ne me quitte pas" and it was simply amazing.
