Default Best David Lee Roth guitarist?

David Lee Roth has worked with some of the best guitarist ever. Who do you think is the best?Eddie VAN HALEN, Steve VAI or Jason BECKER.

It's really very hard. And not considering influence, i go with STEVE VAI.
He is my faveourite. Love, Passion and Warfare is just the best guitar album ever.

But Eddie is also amzing and people just seem to forget about JASON BECKER who is unbelivable good.

Your toughts!

EDWARD VAN HALEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This guy can pack more into a few seconds of a guitar solo than most guitarists can do in minutes (or in some cases hours)

a lot of the time he overpacks, though. not a problem for the first few bars but then it gets pretty montonous.

I totally agree, Steve Vai it is. And yeah, Passion & Warfare is THE guitar album. But, mainly because Mr Vai is way more flexible than few others mentioned, can't say Vai is the best composer there is, but I do love the way he can fit into every band he's played with. Oh, and u should check out guitar duel with Ry Cooder from the movie "Crossroads"...NO NOT Britney Spears one........
